Well I bought one for me and one for my BFF because she was having fly issues. And this seemed like one of the best options for price durability and function. The flies are not at all attracted to the uv light, I see people say the mosquitos do. So that's just one thing if that's what people are buying it for. It works great as a fly swatter and zapper just be careful inside the house cuZ it can be kinda dangerous if your not paying attention. I like that it is rechargeable and is easy to charge and see if and when it's full. Comes with a great little instruction booklet and how the power works or is distributed. Very helpful. Also, the design is really cool because the handle swivels so that you can set in upright on the counter or shelf. And compats if needed to travel. I love it and would recommend for everyone for need or fun.

We had the worst fruit fly infestation. We bought glue traps, a countertop zapper, and poison apple traps with nearly no noticeable effect. In just a couple of sessions using this handheld zapper and my house is essentially fly free. The zap is a little jolting the first time you see/hear it, but it’s definitely not bad at all. Super sturdy feeling and I am just so thankful for how effective it is. I saw some negative reviews about the battery life, but honestly, it lasts longer than I want to be swinging it around! My arm gets tired before the battery runs out. It’s also charges really quickly. Would 100% buy again.

I’m not one to just buy anything, when I buy something it has to meet my standards, before I back it up, if it is trash I’d say so with explanation, this zapper from buzbug is so good I don’t see how it could get better and worth every penny you should definitely buy it. Read the rest of my review if you want to know what you’re getting, I’ve used other similar zappers and the metal cage was easily bent causing other zappers to fail, buzbug has a great design preventing the metal cage from being easily bent regardless the strength of the metal cage is far better quality than similar zappers but buzbug went further to increase the strength of the cage and I tried pushing the cage to bend it as I’ve done with others but I wasn’t able to bend it but try hard enough and of course it will break just like anything else so use common sense and this zapper will last. Buzbug zapper has a pleasant light, while it didn’t last long but maybe 5 minutes after testing it without charging it, it started killing bugs pretty quickly and it can be used while charging so it definitely meets my standards so don’t waste any money and try this one first it can always be returned but I’m sure you’ll be happy with Buzbug.

It zaps the hell out of about every insect you can imagine! If it's on the ceiling, just hold it under it and close and it's over. No more splattering mess! I haven't noticed a charging issue yet as other reviews have mentioned . Time will tell, but so far so good.I had a mosquito problem in my backyard and this resolves it quickly.

Don’t hold the charge. Only lasts about 45 mins after fully charged

It is bug season in California now and I just bought this the other day and it really works excellently!! Way better than a fly swatter wow. It killed a small spider in one zap (sorry lil guy) and eases my worries with dealing with critters in the house. Highly recommend!

The most economical rechargeable unit that I found on amazon. Works really well, but has a short battery life. If left on, and actively using, probably 20-30 mins of battery life. Charges quickly and fun way to combat mosquitos. Bought two, and will be keeping.

I’ve had an invasion of fruit flys! They were getting me down. But wielding this combatant the flys were quickly disposed of. The ‘ping’ as each fly hit the racket was totally satisfying and in no time at all, my kitchen was clear. Easy to use and easy to recharge, I totally recommend this product.
