Works
Thought I'd review this for anyone searching for something that works, this does the job well. The product cleans well and doesn't require much effort but depends how long you haven't cleaned it for but if you just let it sit it just wipes off anyways. My glass needs replaced so it may not look clean but trust me after a day of it going the glass goes all black so it's an improvement after using this.

Great product
I did not know I needed this product until I used it today..All the scrubbing i have experienced with the alternative household cleaning methods like vinegar & baking powder..With this no effort is required apply, leave and wipe .My fingers will no longer be covered and stained by the horrible black soot sfter scrubbing worth every penny..

Easy to use
I liked the easy spray nozzle with two settings made it easy to get to difficult areas of wood stove, I thought there would have been more black colour to the finish but definitely did a good cleaning job.

It works!
I've been looking for a product to remove tar and soot stains from the glass of a wood-burning stove. This one actually does that job and does it well. Simply spray on, leave for a few minutes and wipe off - a piece of cake. Chuffed to find something that actually works and does what it's meant to do.

It's OK.
It would helped if the nozzle adjuster says spray and it sprays but instead it is opposite - Stream turned out to be Spray and spray was Stream. This liquid is too runny. My favourite stove glass cleaner is still Stovax Gel (still have half bottle left) but not to be found for sale anywhere. Second favourite is Dirtbusters' paste. Both subsances stay on the glass and both easy to control. Fortunately with this Vitcas I anticipated some of the problems and used old news papers to cover where I didn't want the spray to end up.Unlike gel or paste, this liquid just runs down the glass instead of staying on where it was sprayed in order to act on the burnt-on tar and soot. Thin layer of soot & tar could be removed with one spray. Due to the liquid not staying on the glass where sprayed but run down under influence of gravity, the process of spray + rub off must be repeated for instances where soot & tar is thick. Just once in a while when all the burnt logs (or smokeless coal) were thorougly dried then one spray was enough. However, more often than not, and especially with thick logs which were not thoroughly dried in their centres, the soot and tar left on the screen requires the spray + rub off process to be repeated 2 to 3 times.Would hate to just rely on just this Vitcas product when burning "kiln dried oak" because my experience with thick logs of oak is that producers tend not to kiln dry them for long enough. They may test moisture content on or near the surface but remains too moist in their centres. Consequently these big logs tend to leave thick tar on the glass. It's no surprise we don't burn oak any more so not able to test Vitcas glass cleaner but I reckon it would be unsatisfactory. Best score I could give it is 3 stars.Update. Been using this for a week now and it proved impossible to control the micro droplets entirely. Some float in the air to linger a short while instead of being jetted onto glass and eventually float down onto carpet. So if you add the fact of having to cover parts of the stove and floor carpet areas where you don't want the micro droplets to land, the time taken to lay extra old newspapers + the cleaning process is not much quicker than using a gel or paste as these don't have droplets landing where you don't want. Also wih gel and paste you just do it once as the substance stays on the glass and do not visibly run down the glass under influence of gravity.

It works well
The spray was easy to use and removed the stains from the inside of the glass front of our gas fire.
