This item has an upward angled projection to support the picture, rather than the ones with a curved plastic hook which projects further out. You need to choose which one is best for the job. This was fine for a small plaque as the fixing can't be seen when in place. With the other curved type, the hook hangs below the fixing so would have been visible. I wouldn't risk using it for heavy objects.By the way, there are 3 pins, not 2 as illustrated

The picture hooks are the same size as those shown, but have 3 pins not 2! Additionally, although I ordered part number "BH01676", the part number on the bag delivered is "B00K1CCUUU. I have yet to discover how well they work but hope, as they are the same size, they perform the same!

Bought these as I was looking for something a bit smaller as I was having trouble getting small picture frames to hang on other similar type hooks I have bought from B&Q as the hook was too large. These are just perfect and are super simple to use and very sturdy once tapped into the wall 👍

These are super easy to put into the wall - just hold in position and tap in with a hammer so that one if the three little pins goes into the walk enough to hold it in place then use the hammer to tap the three pins in together. Most picture frames these days have perspex instead of picture glass and its much lighter so pictures / framed photos are lighter and easier to hang.

i was surprised to find these had not 2 but 3 nails, which is actually even better as it provides more holding grip. Well worth it. These actually work in plasterboard too which I've used for years, they just can't hold as much (but more with three pins).
