This book is absolutely amazing! I have gotten so much from it and so much more than I ever expected. Do not be frightened by the title, you will be totally amazed at how John Eldredge explains holiness in such a way that it actually seems attainable. It is not as I thought all about a boring, dull life trying to be 'good'. Anyway, he can tell you so much better which is why I'm not a writer and he is! You will not be disappointed. I wrote so many notes on this book, I actually could have written my own book, well thinking of it then it wouldn't have been my own book, it would just be a copy of his lol. This book has helped me on my journey to getting a deeper, closer relationship with God so that in itself is reason enough to buy it.

The book was in very good condition when it arrived as promised and it is an incredibly good and important read for any Christian and anyone seeking to know the true qualities of God. He truly does love us! I feel very blessed having read this and can recommend John Eldredge's writing to anyone.

started reading this its very good. Easy to read and follow. very thought provoking it would be easy for a young Christian to follow with its easy writing style as an older Christian. Really good. Packaging and delivery brilliant as always

I have many of this author's books and was looking forward to the latest one. I did feel that the first part repeated some of what had already been written in previous books, but in the end it was a very helpful book as usual.

John Eldridge is one of the best Christian writers I have read, this book is life changing I started it and could not put it down, It opened my eyes and my heart, a must read for christians and non christians.
