FitVille Diabetic Sandals for Men Wide Width with Arch Support, Men Diabetic Sandals Adjustable

I had been looking for and ordered many pairs of shoes for my dad. His feet are big anyway because he's 6'4" tall. But lately he's had a lot of swelling. He couldn't fit a shoe with both the toe and back in. Then I bought a shoe with both the toe and back out with velcro to adjust to when his feet would swelling. I would be so afraid he was going to fall because he's not use to shoes like that but he had to have something. Finally, I found these and ordered. They arrived today. He tried them on and didn't want to take them off. He said his feet haven't felt that good in a long time. It's a quality material. The velcro stays where you put it and the inside feels so good. I know because I tried them on. I will order another pair in another color. Worked out great for my dad!

For my feet these are my only tolerated shoes/sandals. Living in AZ I where them all the time. I did have to tweak them for my comfort by cutting the flaps shorter so I could velcro them closed easier. Once I did that I was walking safely and on air...so comfortable. These were my 3rd pair each lasting me at least a year. The rubber soles started separating in patches so I use that pair in my apartment. Just expect a learning curve as these are somewhat lifty like a platform and may seem awkward at first. But with diabetic neuropathy and some minor swelling thse fit the bill for me. Mind you I weigh 270lbs which may account for the sole degradation.

I bought these for a friend who had to have her legs wrapped because of lymphedema. Other shoes would not fit her after her legs and feet were wrapped. She wore them today for the first time and they were perfect. The adjustable straps worked very well.

I recently had a hammertoe surgery and needed a sandal type shoe like this Fitville sandal. Sizing is an adventure with the webpage and their description(s). I ended up with a 10M /extra wide, which does not make sense. Shoe is very comfortable. The 2 front straps work great. the problem is I need to shift my foot as far forward in the bed of the shoe as possible, so no rubbing on surgery area. When I do this I have a gap at the back of my foot about 1 inch or more to the rear shoe cup. Placing a third loop & close strap in the back instead of the enclosed cup back of shoe would make a great improvement for people who have surgery on the front end of their foot. There are numerous 3 strap sandals but they do not have the comfort of Fitville. Plus, I am able to lay 1 of my diabetic inserts in the bed of the Fitville shoe for more comfort and cushioning. Adding a 3rd strap in rear would definitely make 5 stars.

Why did you pick this product vs others?: I purchased these because I hurt my foot, had surgery, swelling and inability to wear other shoes. I bought them begrudgingly as I'm a shoe person who owns hundreds of pairs of shoes and the thought of " diabetic specialty shoes" did not sit well with me albeit only temporarily...well I got them put them on , with black ankle sock because my feet were bandaged so it was that or wrappings exposed...they were so comfortable and actually looked good ...the little ankle sock blended in and was almost inconspicuous...well my foot has healed but I'm still weating the shoes, not every day, but I still wear a shoe I planned to throw out once my foot healed. Ironically people ask me where I got them and say they look look comfortable to which i tell them they are and recommend them even if you don't need a special foot condition shoe. I've already purchased 2 more pair, still in boxes for the day when these have seen their better day ...there is something to be said for comfortable shoes. I previously lived by the mantra that fashion doesn't matter about comfort it' matters how it looks ..im guess im evolving a bit

When my husband could no longer wear his regular shoes due to health issues, these were a life saver for going out on trips to doctor appts or for just a fun car ride. I could easily assist him in putting on these sandals due to the Velcro straps. Although they are open toe, they still gave him some protection of his foot other than just going stocking footed. He said they felt comfortable.

Since I have basically no movement in either foot plus my feet are at least 1 1/2 sizes different these shoes seem like they will work for me. I can get them on with a little effort especially the right foot (bigger) and more damaged foot. I am now wearing for the second day. The quality seems good so far. I have bought at least 5 other pairs of shoes trying to find ones I can put on and walk in successfully. These are the best so far.

The fit is good, but I can't wear socks or my toes and feet hurt. The bands that touch your feet have some rough material. I put black duck tape over these areas and they will be ok for in house walking.

Very comfortable and light. Not for tough or hard usage. Just everyday walk. Has a tight grip and a soft feel.

I rarely write reviews but this is an exception! These sandals are perfect for my husband's feet which swell up due to heart failure. They look smart and sporty, are very easy to take on and off with secure velcro and apparently very comfortable. We are both delighted with this purchase.
