Wishful thinking a big knife with big QC issues…
I’m a pro drywall guy and painter who uses big knives and skimming blades to skim coat. So when I saw this knife available in 24” I was excited and surprised because usually only skimming blades are over 18” in length. I actually like the knife but the 1-2/16” of play in the handle made it feel floppy in my hands and like it had the propensity to break prematurely. Maybe it won’t at all but this is the first spackle knife I’ve bought in all my life that actually had a lose handle and that’s in any price range. The lose handle also makes you have to adjust how you spackle on a fine finish meaning you won’t be able to finesse the mud the way you should. My spackle work has been compared to Michelangelo’s Art by painters with 50 years experience. Unfortunately this knife with its loose handle didn’t help my image. It’s nice to have a nice this large you can manipulate with one hand. Hopefully this problem can be corrected with some minor adjustments and better quality control. The gaps may not look bad in the pics but when the knifes flopping around in your hand you know that’s just not right. Hopefully they can send me one next time that feels solid.

Not Stainless Steel
Not even close to being stainless. Magnet will jump out of your hand to attach to it.
