The camera can be mounted on the wall with the included wall mount plate or set on a shelf. The camera is made with unremarkable plastic and feels quite ordinary. Plug-in power adapter cord is over 3 meters long and can easily reach an available power outlet. With sufficient light, the streaming video is very colorful and clear. The night vision captures video with very low light and is streamed in black and white that is very clear and surprisingly bright. The camera offers tremendous features: • Pan and Tilt • 2k Zoom • 2-way communication • Lively night vision The set up is incredibly easy and fast. One of the best features is the Android and Apple mobile App where the user interface is very intuitive and straight forward for camera control, viewing and voice communication. The Tapo’s App loads very quickly as compared to our Nest Cameras (Doorbell and exterior driveway), which are much slower even with excellent WiFi connection. The Tapo’s App will support multiple devices and cameras, which can be custom named based on its location. A tremendous feature is that the app has the ability to support multiple video streams on one screen. The App has many features that we can customize based on our needs. Given the extremely positive experience with the Tapo system, we are in the process of replacing our Nest Doorbell Camera as it keeps failing when it goes below -15°C. The Tapo’s Camera will accept up to a 512GB Micro SD card even though the description indicates 256GB. The 256GB micro SD card will hold about 384 hours (or 2 weeks) of video, depending on activity and camera resolution that is being recorded. The video on the Micro SD card can be downloaded and saved onto your mobile device or personal cloud storage. You can subscribe to Tapo’s cloud service for video storage, which is relatively expensive for multiple devices. There is No Computer (Windows 11 or Apple) access to Tapo's camera, only Android or Apple Mobile App access to camera. This is not an issue for our household, but if computer access is a must, a different video solution should be considered. The value to price ($30 +tax) for each indoor camera is exceptional | Strong buy recommendation. Good quality and easy to use

I rarely leave reviews, but these cameras are definitely worth it. I’ve owned other cameras before, but these are much better. The picture quality is super clear and crisp. They work consistently and were very easy to set up. Highly recommend!

I thought I would give this a try and for the price that I got them at when they were on sale, I can't really complain. I needed a camera to record 24/7 without a cloud service. Although a cloud service is available with these which make it a GREAT option to get these cameras. So I put in a 128Gb card and set it up and away we go. I set it up on motion tracking and it works really well. I had to stop the tons of notifications I was getting but is a handy feature when I need it. It even tracks the cats wandering all around. Overall I am happy with the camera but if I had to nit pick at something it would be a couple of things. It tracks movement on the TV, so the camera often watching TV instead of the people in the room. Not a deal breaker. The other bug for me is that when it tracks and follows something to a certain point, after a while the camera resets to a position if it doesn't sense someone. The problem is it often sets to a position or a fixed setting that I can't seem to control. This one annoys me somewhat because the camera can completely miss someone coming into the room. Still working on this one. But overall I am happy with the cameras and the ease of setting it up with the app. I have actually purchased several more of these. And for that reason I'm in.

Excellent Features and Outstanding Value for the Price I've used a number of indoor Wi-Fi cameras over the years, and these Tapo 2K Pan/Tilt cameras have been one of the better values I've come across. The 2K picture quality is sharp enough to clearly identify people, pets, and what's happening around the room, and the pan/tilt feature gives excellent coverage without needing to install multiple fixed cameras. Setup was straightforward using the Tapo app, and both cameras were connected and running within just a few minutes. I also like that they support local recording with a microSD card, so you're not forced into paying for a cloud subscription if you don't want one. Motion detection notifications have been timely, the night vision is clear, and the two-way audio is handy for checking in on family members or talking to pets while away. Another feature I appreciate is the ability to save preset viewing positions and quickly move the camera to different areas of the room. For anyone looking to monitor a baby, pets, or simply keep an eye on the house while away, these cameras offer a lot of flexibility for a very reasonable price. A couple of things to keep in mind: these are wired cameras, so you'll need a nearby power outlet, and they only connect to 2.4 GHz Wi-Fi networks. Also, while local recording is available, you'll need to purchase a microSD card separately if you want continuous recording without subscribing to cloud storage. Bottom Line: For the price, this two-pack offers an impressive combination of image quality, reliable motion detection, useful pan/tilt capability, and easy setup. If you're looking for affordable indoor security cameras that don't require an ongoing subscription, these are an excellent choice.
