Barebells Soft Protein Bars Salted Peanut Caramel
Very good in texture and taste. lol Almost want to eat too many. Good protein content with 16g per bar. Need to keep them stored in a cool place, as they melt easily.

Delicious dessert, but opt for a different bar if you want to hit macros
I'm gonna preface this with the fact that these are, hands down, my favorite protein bars in taste. I'd argue they're even better than a snickers-- the chocolate is thicker on the top, so you get a bit more of a snap to it, and the caramel layer is thicker. And thank god, actual peanuts! I'm aware at the end of the day, protein bars are pretty artificial, but it's so nice to have actual pieces of nut in these. The core has an amazing texture too, very squidgy, a bit tougher than a nougat, but goes very well with the bar. When I go to work and have no time for lunch, I love slamming on of these down since it keeps my energy up (peanuts for fat and protein for fuel) and keeps me full enough until a late lunch. For people who are looking for serious gains or are advised to follow high-protein diets, I do want to state though-- these bars have collagen in them and that is part of the protein content on the label. It's great for bones and joint health, but it is an incomplete protein. It also means these are not vegan/vegetarian-safe. Additionall, most bars on the market will be 19-20 grams of complete protein for 200 calories, so this may not be the best bar for you. Barebells' regular bars hit that mark if that's your goal, but the vegan ones don't.Personally, I still think these are awesome-- I got them on subscription since I like these so much as a dessert or treat. They work well enough for me on plain-jane work days. However, if I'm gonna go hit weights and/or cardio, I'd reach for a regular barebells. Hope this helps someone!

Delightful taste and lots of protein!

Great flavor
Love the flavor and cost. Items arrived melted even though there was an ice pack in the box.

Legitimately impressed. Feels like cheating (but it’s not)
I’ve tried a lot of protein bars over the years, and a few different Barebells flavors too. This one is easily one of my favorites. The Salted Peanut Caramel legitimately tastes like a candy bar. Soft texture, good chocolate coating, and the peanut/caramel combo is just spot on. No chalky feel, no grit, and—most importantly—no strong “protein” aftertaste. It honestly feels like you’re getting away with something when you eat one.One thing to note—it’s a little sweeter than I expected. That’s part of what makes it taste so much like a candy bar, so I actually don’t mind it, but if you prefer less-sweet snacks, it’s worth knowing going in.At 21g of protein, it’s also on the higher end compared to most bars, so you’re not trading nutrition for taste. If you’re burned out on typical protein bars, this is a really solid change of pace.

| Best-Tasting Protein Bar I’ve Tried, Hands Down!
I’ve been on a quest for the perfect protein bar for years, having tried at least 20 different brands and countless flavors over time—everything from chalky, overly sweet bars to ones that taste like cardboard. Barebells Protein Bars are, by far, the best I’ve ever tasted, and they’ve become my go-to for a quick, satisfying protein boost. The taste is phenomenal—no artificial aftertaste, which is a huge issue with most bars I’ve tried. Whether it’s the Chocolate Dough or Salted Peanut Caramel, the flavors are rich, natural, and indulgent without feeling like a chemical overload. The texture is the real standout: perfectly chewy yet firm, not crumbly or waxy like some competitors. It’s the kind of bar you actually look forward to eating. The macros are solid—around 20g of protein per bar with reasonable carbs and fats, making it great for post-workout recovery or a mid-day snack. At roughly $2–$3 per bar (depending on the pack size), the price is competitive for the protein content, especially compared to pricier brands with less satisfying flavors. The variety of flavors keeps things fresh; I’ve enjoyed every one I’ve tried, and there’s something for every mood. The only downside is the delivery time. Sometimes, it takes a week or more to arrive, which can be frustrating if I’m running low. I’d recommend ordering ahead to avoid the wait. That said, the quality more than makes up for it.If you’re tired of artificial-tasting protein bars and want one with great texture, solid macros, and a price that doesn’t break the bank, Barebells is the way to go. I’m hooked and will keep these in my rotation!

Very yummy!
Love these bars!!! They are the right amount of sweet and salty, without the guilt.

Good but messy
These are by far the best tasting protein bars and I really enjoy them but the caramel was oozing out of each bar in this last box (all of them). I’m not sure why, but it made eating them messy and difficult.
