Makes tasty food
If you use a barbecue without wood chips your are missing out. Over the years, I have tried a few different types of wood chips from different brands and I do like the Weber ones best as the chips are sized perfectly, they are large enough to last a while but also thin enough to fall through the grates on a Weber grill straight onto the coals, this allows me to add more chip throughout the barbecue as needed. Also I love the whiskey ones, but to be honest I can’t smell or taste any whiskey flavour In the smoke, however the end result on the chicken or meat is very tasty. Good strong flavour
Used to slow cook brisket on a Weber kettle. Adds a nice strong smoke ring when the meat is cooked, and adds a nice hint of flavour.

Well worth it!
This is great! Had the whiskey flavoured chips and they make such a difference in flavour. I use a handful of these bad boys, socked in for at least a couple of hours, put the lid on my meat for a few minutes, and voila!

Adds great taste
I've tried most versions of woodchips ony Weber Q gas grill and these are the ones I like the most - they make a very strong smoke and add great smokiness to food.

Expensive.
I like the product. It gave a lovely mild flavour to my side of salmon, but I will look for an alternative as is a very small bag, and would make food expensive. I would recommend the product but not at this price.

Don't use too many.
Used a small handful on our Cobb. I clearly needed less as the whole chicken we cooked tasted more like 20 B&H..

Bag not sealed
Haven't yet tried the whiskey wood chips, but when opening the box it was delivered in I was hit with a strong whiskey wood smell which filled the room. They smell really nice, however, the reason I could smell them was because the bag wasn't sealed properly and some wood chips had fallen out of the bag. I can't see anywhere on the packaging that says they need to be kept sealed when being stored so I hope they won't lose the scent before being used.

Ich verwende die Whiskey-Räucherchips von Weber im Smoker – hauptsächlich bei Hühnchen, Spare Ribs oder anderem Schweinefleisch. Das Aroma ist angenehm süßlich, leicht würzig und bringt eine rauchige Tiefe, die sich gerade bei diesen Fleischsorten gut entfaltet. Besonders bei Spare Ribs funktioniert das Ergebnis zuverlässig und geschmacklich überzeugend. Die Chips sind sauber verarbeitet, gleichmäßig geschnitten und frei von Bröseln. Die Rauchentwicklung ist stabil und kräftig – vorausgesetzt, man wässert sie vor der Anwendung und lässt sie kurz quellen. Ohne diesen Schritt sind sie schnell verbrannt und bringen kaum den gewünschten Effekt. Ich setze sie gezielt ein – nicht bei jedem Grillgut, aber bei den oben genannten Gerichten haben sie sich bewährt. Die Packung ist nicht übermäßig groß, aber die Menge reicht völlig aus – ich benötige nur wenig pro Anwendung. Die Chips sind wiederverschließbar verpackt, was die Lagerung unkompliziert macht. Da sie regelmäßig im Angebot sind, passt für mich auch das Preis-Leistungs-Verhältnis. Ein Produkt, das bei richtiger Anwendung zuverlässig funktioniert – und geschmacklich genau das liefert, was ich mir für diese Fleischsorten wünsche.

Au début je n'y croyais pas trop, mais c'est vraiment le top ! C'est coco donne un parfum agréable à la viande, il n'est pas nécessaire d'en mettre beaucoup ce qui permet voir une longue durée d'utilisation avec un seul pack
