Baader PlanetariumAstroSolar Solar Filter

Works well and can see the sun and spots. Needs some assembly to fit on your scope, but easily handled if you have some spare cardboard around.

Was slightly disappointed with the size of actual filter paper as it stated 150 mm but didn’t cover all of my 130mm aperature.Made a filter holder and cap out of cardboard envelope that it came in and works absolutely fine.Just think a little to expensive for a tiny piece of paper but much cheaper than buying a purpose made one 👍👍

Good product but I remember buying a A4 sheet for the same price as this this is a small square discusted at the price look for a cheaper A4 size this will only just make a 80mm solar filter if that disappointed with pricing Rip off

Product included instructions tissue paper and template, but not filter! Had to return and order another (not great as the solar eclipse is in 7 days).

The media could not be loaded.  This was an excellent filter although i bought it much cheaper on E.b.a.y This fiter will expose the natural colour of the Sun (white) instead of the colour yellow/Orange which people associate the Sun with.

Attached are a couple of photos I have shot using these filters on my Celestron telescope. The pale one shows you what you get through the filter and the yellow one is how you can adjust the photos afterwards. It protects you through the telescope if you follow the instructions properly. You can look through your telescope with just your eyes safely with one of these filters.I 3D printed a cover for my telescope that fits the sheets without trimming. You can see my setup in one of the photos. It worked great for the April 2024 eclipse and I have used these multiple times since to observe the sun. These are delicate, but great to use. Buy two as I damaged one after the eclipse and you don't want any pinholes or it is useless.If you are interested at looking at sunspots, these are a must purchase.

Kurz vor der Sonnenfinsternis im April 2024 habe ich festgestellt, dass mein alter SoFi-Kamerafilter verschwunden ist. Die Lieferung der Folie ging glücklicherweise sehr schnell, so dass ich mir noch rechtzeitig einen neuen Linsenaufsatz basteln und perfekte SoFi-Bilder machen konnte :-)

Con el Sol no se juega. La lámina Baader es la original y, aunque su precio supere con creces la de otros filtros de mylar ya fabricados y completos, la calidad y resistencia de la lámina Baader es incomparable, y viene recubierta por ambas caras (cosa que el resto de filtros de imitación no). Con la lámina Baader se filtra más del 99% de la luz (y calor) del Sol, lo que la hace, con un artilugio adecuadamente construido para que no se desprenda del objetivo de su telescopio, perfectamente segura para la observación de la fotosfera solar, con una buena definición visual (no importa si la lámina está un poco arrugada) sin riesgo para sus ojos...

Le film est livré dans un emballage qui le protège des pliages intempestifs. Après il faut bricoler (un peu) pour pouvoir fixer le film sur sur téléscope ou son objectif. C'est plutôt facile et agréable à faire (et en plus la notice d'utilisation montre des exemples). Ensuite il n'y a plus qu'à regarder. J'ai mis en photo le résultat du premier essais avec le film. Je suis très satisfait.
