a *little* tight but otherwise great
these are a little on the tight/small side of expected fit and don't have briefs but I think the compression is good enough to keep everything in to the degree that extra underwear aren't necessary. I'd say these are my second favorite behind the saucony impulse shorts.

Not quite spandex
Was expecting these to be more spandex-type shorts, but they're a bit loose-fitting. I ordered size XS...the waist fits nice, but there's a bit more room than needed for the thighs in the "ruched" area...granted I don't have a lot of shape, it seems that size XS should be a little more snug. They are comfortable and have a nice back pocket perfect for ipod. They just weren't quite what I was expecting.

Love these shorts
I bought my first pair at a running store. Then I found them on Amazon, and just had to buy two more. They fit great, don't chafe, and barely ride up. I would buy 10 more if I could!
