Bed Side Step Stool - Provencial Stained 11" Wide (Made in U.S.A.)

To start, the footstool is as described, a nice, decorative, wooden footstool at just the right height (5") to prop your legs off the floor when sitting in certain chairs that are slightly too tall. It seems to be well made but I'm not a carpentry expert, so maybe another review can attest to that better. I won't say it is overpriced, because I don't have the experience to evaluate a wooden piece of furniture. I would have happily bought a plastic thing at a lower cost for the same purpose, if I could have found one that was 5 inches tall. I couldn't find anything at that height, so I decided to make the $100 purchase. I do not regret it, it is a nice item, I was simply hoping to spend less money on it.More about the footstool: It is lightweight enough to carry and position it with your feet. It has a relief in the front for your foot to hook onto to and pull it forward. All the edges are rounded. It is sturdy on a carpeted floor, but i haven't tried it on a bare floor. The only con is that it could be slightly slippery on top. I am thinking adding some friction pads or something for that. Overall, I am happy with it.

I took off a point because it is too expensive and takes a long time to arrive they also promised to stain it dark cherry but didn’t. Nevertheless, I love it because it is just the right height and length for a short person and is well made and attractive.

Very rough stool with unfinished paint

My bed is just a tad too high to get up in. This stool is not too tall and just perfect for me to get both feet in and push myself back further onto the mattress. Rotator cuff problems in right shoulder and arm prevent me from using my arms to push down on edge of bed and scoot back. This way I can use my feet and legs. Looks nice. Good hard wood material. Like the cutouts in sides so I can use my foot to move the stool under the bed, or pull it out to use it.

$89 for stool. I knew my mom wouldn't like color, but size was perfect. She was not happy with color when it arrived. Not shipper's fault there, it's mine. What IS their fault is the $10 extra cash on delivery fee left in her mailbox. What is up with that? I send a gift and the shipper sends a bill?

The craftsmanship is superb; it's a fully functional step stool. It's so easy to move in and out under the bed and the stool height is perfect. We couldn't ask for a better product!

I love the look, it is sturdier than I thought it might be. The finish looks expensive. My only complaint is, the finish is so smooth that should you wear socks and step on it, you can slip off. There should be some edging on it to keep you secure.

I absolutely love the step stool! It is perfection to the highest order! Great craftsmanship, great quality and made in the USA! Can’t get better than this!
