Expensive but now I have additional storage that was useless space before. Fairly to install too.

Great item for the storage unit under the sink

Going in my new kitchen cabinets.

Works great and makes great use of this kind of drawer if you ha e one already and want to add this or put I. The entire assembly on one. The only thing I would like is the option to buy just one of the two drawers since I only ha e space for one of them.

This is a great product to eek a little more usable space out of faux drawers in front of sinks. The description indicates these 14" trays are for openings at least 16" wide, but they worked fine with our 15" wide openings - there's just not as much margin for error. I wouldn't want to use them on an opening narrower than 15" wide. The provided instructions are printed in amazingly small text and make the installation process look a lot more complicated than it is (it's pretty easy). Drilling templates are provided and proved to be mostly accurate, but the cabinet-side template was offset a bit and required me to adjust the hole positions accordingly. Both ends of the hinges have oblong holes to allow for fine-tuning the hinge and tip-out alignment. Rev-A-Shelf does make a soft-close hinge set for these tip-outs, and if those weren't so expensive, I might suggest using them. These tip-outs do have a tendency to quite audibly snap shut.

I can't live without these tip-out trays, and have installed them after each of our 5 moves, and for friends and family whenever they mention it. Unfortunately, those installations are years between, so I forget what I have learned. It's not easy. Don't hurry. The REV-A-Shelf instructions and templates are impressive. Use a VERY SHARP, very short pencil to mark the corners on the drawer front. A critical dimension is the outside edges -- get it right and everything else is easy(-er). Installing the hinge assembly with two screws onto the drawer front is a wrestling match. Find a small hole hidden in the middle of the larger, cabinet side of the hinge. You can stick a screw or a nail thru it to keep the hinge open while you are working. (Sure it will extend and hold for a few seconds. Get you fingers in there, and it will snap shut.) Remember to REMOVE the "hold-open" nail before trying to install the unit into the cabinet frame opening. The template for screw holes on cabinet sides is well-designed, BUT it's usually impossible to get a drill into the cabinetry to make the lower hole. Set the actual hinge against the template, and mark a mid-level hole. That's the one to use for a lower pilot hole (photo attached), and will work fine for a lower screw. Also, masking tape helps to set up the templates in a good way, and step back to evaluate before drilling. Sure is fun to get it right!

The space was wasted and now it is functional thanks to this product. Please note that while the promo video shows both 45 and 90 degree angle hinges... I learned that the 45's come with products sold in the US and the 90 degree hinge aka 'Euro Hinge' are shipped to Europe. Some distributors in the US sell the Euro hinges but they sell them in packages of 10. I suggested that they offer them for sale in 2 packs so I hope they do offer that as the 45 degree hinges do not work for every US application. I did have an issue with the company and was referred to Amazon since they did the fulfillment They sent me directly to a RevAShelf company representative who responded very quickly and while not directly able to help me, they were able to get me to someone who could help me. Everything was handled very quickly to my pleasant surprise and I am now excited to try other products that the company offers. The product I ordered came quickly, was easy to install and is working as desired allowing me to hide unwanted scrub brushes, sponges, sink stoppers, etc. The product is easy to clean up, easy to remove if the bin needs to be cleaned or replaced and they offer just the plastic holders should you not need the hinges or want to change the bins out in the future. They offer many sizes so finding a great fit is easy to do. I would definitely work with this company again. If you do have an issue do not be afraid to reach out to them directly. It took several people before I was able to be helped but they accomplished that fairly quickly and quite satisfactorily in the end with minimal pain on my part other than to restate my problem several times and provide some additional information that they requested. All in all they were easy to work with and the 'people of the company' seem to be just a excellent as the 'products' of the company.
