2006 Vstar 650cc
Had oil leak, and this part fixed the problem. Even though your leak may look like it’s coming from somewhere else, before digging In to deep, replace with this part. It’s a very common place to leak as it is plastic prone to crack and O-Ring that flattens out. Do not over tighten as it will crack the plastic cover. Need to remove kickstand and cover plate behind kickstand to access this part.

Perfect fit and fix.
Definitely fixed the issue. The original was cracked in 3 spots. This one for perfect and stopped the leak.

Improper fitment, leaks oil
After using this to replace my broken neutral switch, it continued to leak oil until I replaced it with a different manufacturer. When I took it off, the O-ring appeared thinner than the replacement. No oil leak since being replaced.

Part works
Part fits as expected and has stopped the constant oil leak from my bike. Oil the O ring before install and tighten the screws each a little at a time to evenly tighten it down and you shouldn't have any problems. Would recommend using a jack because the kickstand is in the way and makes the job alot more tedious on vstars

Fit perfect, leak free.
Some review say this is the wrong size, does not fit. Either the person ordered the wrong part or is not installing correctly. The switch fit perfect, and tight, it is leak free. Apply some grease to o ring to help ease it into the engine. Dont overtighten the screws.

Poor sealing
Held oil back for two months and started leaking again. Went with OEM from a local dealer, no problems for months.
