Flameless Candle - 5" x 7" Ivory - Flickering Moving Flame Pillar Candle, Includes Remote Control - Real Wax - 2 x C Battery Operated - Not Included

I love SoftFlame candles, I own 14 of them. This is the white 4” wide 10” tall candle, it’s the tallest one in my picture. It’s is wax and I really love the thin rim and wavy top, it looks so realistic. The flame is a latex kind of material you can squeeze it it’s not rigid and it rocks back and forth in different patterns much like a real flame. These each take two C batteries no matter what size candle and they last a very long time. I’ve had my ivory ones for about 8 months and still haven’t changed the batteries. The bottom has an on/off switch and two light modes on the body hi and low. The remote comes with each candle but one will operate many candles with a few extra clicks. There are three pattern settings that each flicker differently and a timer so they shut off after your chosen time or you can leave them on. These look so beautiful in a grouping on a round wooden tray on a coffee table. Everyone that has seen them assumes they are real, when they are lit it’s extremely realistic especially if you have a scented diffuser going, that really gives the full effect of scented candles. I left these on when I went out the other day and had a few seconds of panic that I left candles burning, I quickly felt relief that the house was not going to burn down! I love these. The only reason I deducted a star is that the white ones had some very slight color variations, some were whiter then other but again it’s very slight but I did not have that issue with the ivory, they were all identical and I personally like the ivory ones better. Still would recommend these, they are beautiful candles and we’ve greatly enjoyed all of ours.

I am really torn about this beautiful candle. The first order I put in arrived and I inserted two C batteries and it started working right away. The actual flame movement and the light fluctuations is really like real and the candle itself is made of wax. Looking at it from a distance it is really hard for someone to know that it is not a real candle right away. That was very exciting and I thought what a great product. However, after checking out the remote which feels really cheap, it only worked until I turned off the candle with the remote and the remote failed for good. No matter what I did, including replacing the battery, would not make it work. So, yes you can turn on the candle from the button underneath but cannot control the brightness, flame type and the timer since remote was dead. So, I exchanged it through Amazon and the replacement works beautifully. We loved it so much (even though the remote is still very low quality), we went ordered a bigger size of the same candle for our house.Candle itself is totally worth it but be prepared to be disappointed with the remote

The media could not be loaded.  These are beautiful candles at an unbelievable price. The leading well-known brand is three times as expensive at this size, so I've been putting off buying them for my two large candle stands (in the video) When I saw these at this price, I picked up one right away, and then immediately bought a second based on my very positive opinion of the first one.They're lightweight with a wax finish, and feel like real candles in terms of texture. The "flame" is actually completely round, unlike the leading brand, which are flat. The flames have an internal flicker effect that is projected on to it from the inside, and they sway back and forth. I prefer it to be random, like a real flame. One of the candles behaves that way, but the other pretty much just goes back and forth at a regular cadence. It's only a minor niggle for me though. I tried to capture the difference in the video.It comes with a remote control to adjust brightness, flicker speed (the internal flickering light effect, not the wiggle speed), and a selection of timers in 2 hour increments. You can choose the body to be illuminated, as in my video, however that function is toggled by a switch on the bottom, and can't be controlled on the remote control. In my case, I found that one remote control can control both candles individually, as long as the remote is within about 8 inches of the candle.I like these so much, that I actually picked up 3rd one for a different room. They're pretty awesome.. and at this price, a no-brainer. Recommended!

It is a beautiful fake candle but when I am sitting next to it, I hear a faint squeaking noise. I do have sensitive ears but I was struggling to find where the sound was coming from until I put my ear next to the candle. Turned it off and the sound went away. Once I realized there were no mice in my wall, I was able to enjoy the candle a bit more. Not sure if mine is a little wonky but heads up for the people with ears that are sensitive to noise.

I'll be honest, I didn't read the description and was shocked to find out it was real wax. Unfortunately, I found out with a real lit candle close enough to melt it. Liked it so much that I bought another to replace it.

I used this candle in a lantern that I used as the centerpiece of a table for a tea that was held at our church. Obviously, it was much safer than using a real candle. It looks very realistic and I loved that I could turn it on or off with the remote control rather having to open the lantern door and disturbing the whole centerpiece.
