Annoying that it doesn't even remotely stick to my wood table or the wood table when we went out to eat last night. It is cute, colorful, and was as described, but irritating that it slides all over the place on our wooden table. I was hoping it would be semi-difficult for my daughter to move it around when eating.Since reviewing a few weeks ago, it has yet to stick to a table at any place we've eaten. 😡

This mat is the most essential item for taking our son out to eat anywhere! While it doesn't have real suction, you can damped the back of the mat a little to help it stay stuck to the table a little bit, but it's not needed. We always carry this around rolled up in our diaper backpack and when we unroll it, it always lays flat. It is a very good size, easy to wipe down, and easy to store. We just put our son's food on the mat and he can either grab it with his hand or use a fork/spoon to scoop it up (we're obviously not putting anything soupy on there). It is definitely easier than handing him a plate and it keeps any mess pretty well contained. We've been using it for 6 months (since he started having solids) and it has held up great. It has not stained, tore, or anything. We carry some disinfectant cleaning wipes to wipe down after use and when we get home we wash with soap and water. When we're out eating, we've overheard people admiring it and saying that it's a good idea, and some have even stopped to ask where we got it. One more thing, it's super cute!

I want to give this mat 6 stars if I can. My 11 month old son loves using this mat when we dining out. This mat is big enough so all his food will stay on his mat even though he loves to play with his food. And the mat stick to the table very well. No mess at all. I would really recommend it when you have a messy eater just like I do.

Perfect for feeding baby. Love that you can serve more than one item. It is pretty sturdy and cleans nicely. I was getting tired of the bowls with the suction at the bottom that just kept popping up and were not that sturdy. Also, its design is the perfect item to use for the baby to learn to feed him/herself. The fact that it is the size of a large placemat helps keep messes to a minimum.

Left a weird white outline on my wood table every time we used it. Obviously we washed it a million times trying to figure out if there was some type of coating on it. Would be okay on a counter I suppose?

It works in all types of tables. Easy to clean and it is easy to put away. I always get complements. I went to a third world country ( won’t name names) and this came really handy to put in all the tables since my kid is only 1.

Had a very strong smell when I first opened it. Hand washing did not work so I needed to use the dishwasher to remove the smell before I could use it.

This placemat is good for little kids eat outside, when they like to pick the food by hand, you only need to put this clean placemat on the table and everything is good to go. Love the design, very camera friendly:)
