Now that my yorkie is sufficiently covered in the rain, she doesn’t wanna come back inside. LOL This umbrella is wonderful, easy to open and close, and you can adjust the angle of the handle to however works best for you. It was covered in dust when it arrived, though, so if you have allergies, you may want to open it outside and rinse it off if possible.

Warning - do not buy this item. It is missing the "stretchable tube" (the long piece that should attach to the umbrella and handle. I returned it once, ordered a new one thinking it was a mistake. The replacement one came today and same thing, missing! Don't waste your time like I did.

We live in Orange County, CA. It arrived, I put it away until if and when it may be needed…. Hello, Hurricane Hilary ! Her head and back remained dry. It didn’t bother her at all. Pretty great!

In my opinion, the instructions for assembling this umbrella leash were needlessly complicated and confusing. Once it was together, or at least once we thought it was together, one of the little metal balls hadn’t clicked out the whole way but only partially, and the product came apart with very little tension. We eventually messed with and jiggled it around enough to get the little metal ball to extend further into the hole and increase overall stability, and so far that’s lasted, but it still sketched me out. If we had been outside when we discovered the flaw, we could have easily lost a flight risk dog.As far as functionality, this umbrella is built nicely, but my dogs are terrified of it. That’s not to say all other dogs would be frightened, but if they’re used to walking on a leash, they certainly aren’t going to just ignore a giant canopy over and sometimes behind them. My dogs definitely thought they were under attack the entire time they were under it, but I think with a bit of exposure and positive reinforcement, they could learn to love it as much as they hate the rain.

The media could not be loaded.  It's very easy to assemble. It's extremely lightweight. And it's the perfect size with good coverage for my small 11lb shih-tzu. My only complaint is that it came extremely dusty.It will take some getting used to for my pup. So make sure you practice walking with your fur baby before it actually rains.

I used this today. I am short and find the straight handle ones awkward to keep over the dog and my arm gets tired. With the flexible bend in the handle I am able to walk comfortably. This does the trick. I find not hooking it to the dog collar actually works better, you can manuaver it away from walls and trees. The dog is less afraid of it, as it doesn't tug on them and it's so much easier to keep over the dog. Less hassle closing it up, not having to unhook it from the dog. This size is great as it covers the whole dog, so they won't get a wet tail. I highly recommend it. Have used it a few times now and the handle broke where the first button is. It wasn't even windy. It's a shame because otherwise I love it. But needs to have sturdier material on the stem of the umbrella.

My dog is not afraid of it like other umbrellas. It works great!

Isn’t good for my dog. He won’t walk under it.
