Hot bath at last!
Excellent faceplate and handle, with a neat concealed fastening mechanism onto the mixer valve behind it. Bear in mind this is the faceplate/handle only and you will also need to buy the single lever mixer valve/diverter valve that actually sits inside the wall, which is the Grohe Rapido E 35501. There are various faceplate designs you can buy to go with the mixer valve/diverter. By the way, the non-thermostatic Rapido E mixer valve is the way to go.... thermostatic mixer valves (seemingly from all manufacturers) have a 10 degree centigrade temperature drop across the hot water supply, which means you can't ever get the bath to run hot enough. A non-thermostatic valve like the Rapido E gets round this problem. Your choice for concealed mixers and faceplates comes down to Grohe or Hans Grohe: the Grohe valve needs less depth inside the wall (70mm-100mm from the back wall to the tile front), which may be a consideration, particularly if replacing an existing thermostatic unit which is typically quite shallow.

No pesky taps!
Good quality product. It’s not cheap but I’m very happy with it and would definitely buy again. Provides a very minimalist, tap-free set up in the bath. Would highly recommend if you want this look.We have a separate shower so the bath just has a hand held shower operated via this too. (The whole set-up included: the GROHE Rapido E Universal Single-Lever Mixer (from Amazon); Hudson Reed Round Slimline Freeflow Bath Filler (from elsewhere); And if you want the hand held shower: S R SUNRISE Round Minimalist Fixed Mounted Shower Head Holder Bathroom Wall Connector Bracket Chrome Finish (from Amazon) along with the GROHE 27367000 Euphoria Cosmopolitan Stick Hand Shower (Amazon) and Triton Flexible Hose 1m chrome 28100240 (Amazon).It sounds like an advert for lots of Amazon stuff! And it’s not the cheapest way to fit out your bath but it gives a very elegant & minimalist look with no pesky taps in the way!
