Tiny Flashlight That Packs a Punch
The OLIGHT IMINI 2 has quickly become one of the most useful items on my keychain. Despite its incredibly small size, it produces a surprisingly bright 50-lumen beam that's perfect for finding keyholes, walking to the car at night, checking under furniture, or handling quick tasks in low light. One of my favorite features is the magnetic quick-release design. Simply pull the flashlight from the magnetic cap, and it turns on instantly. The magnetic base also lets you attach it to metal surfaces, making it convenient for hands-free use when working on small repairs or looking inside cabinets. Charging is effortless thanks to the built-in USB plug—no extra charging cable is needed. A full charge is quick, and the battery lasts long enough for everyday tasks. The aluminum body feels durable and well-made, yet it's so lightweight that I barely notice it on my keychain. If I had to mention one minor drawback, it's that 50 lumens isn't intended for long-distance lighting, but that's exactly what this flashlight is designed for—everyday convenience, not replacing a full-size flashlight. Overall, the OLIGHT IMINI 2 is an excellent EDC accessory that's compact, reliable, rechargeable, and always ready when you need it. I highly recommend it to anyone looking for a dependable keychain flashlight.

Tiny flashlight, big performance
The Olight iMini 2 is one of those gadgets that's easy to underestimate until you actually use it. It's incredibly small and disappears on a keychain, but it puts out far more light than you'd expect from something this size. It's perfect for finding dropped items, unlocking doors at night, checking under the hood, or any of the countless everyday tasks where your phone flashlight just isn't quite enough. The magnetic quick-release design is simple and works well, making it fast to grab and use. USB charging is convenient, battery life has been more than adequate, and the aluminum body feels solid despite its compact size. If you're looking for a reliable keychain flashlight that you'll barely notice until you need it, this is an excellent choice. Great build quality, surprisingly bright output, and exactly the kind of tool that's worth carrying every day.

So far it's REALLY exceeded my expectations as a keychain flashlight
So first off, I know flashlights are a big hobby, especially in the EDC space, and there are a lot of afficionados who have much more sophisticated appreciation and understanding about flashlight than I do. So understand that I'm coming from the perspective of someone who doesn't need to use flashlight all that often and for whom a cheap, basic flashlight usually does the job. That said, I like having a flashlight on my keychain. Usually I just need something I can reach down to my keychain/carabiner hanging from a belt loop, switch on a light for a quick couple seconds so I don't trip over something in my dark garage when I get out of my car, and easily switch it off. In the past I had some very cheap, junky, single LED lights that you squeezed but were so cheaply built they didn't survive replacing the battery. On the other hand, the battery lasted a long time without charging before it ran out. I was kind of worried about switching to a light that charges over USB, not knowing how the battery would run down...My phone, tablet, and all kinds of other devices I have that charge via USB lose power gradually even when not in use. A light I have to charge regularly isn't super convenient for my keychain light. I can't speak to how long the battery lasts yet; I've only been carrying mine for about a month. That said I haven't had to charge it yet and I have been using it a little more than normal because it's neat to play with. That aside, I'm really loving it. I was also worried about the way it's activated, by pulling the light from the magnetic base. I was worried it might fall off the base. Having used it in action, I'm not concerned about that anymore. The magnet is STRONG. It holds on very tightly, and the whole thing tends to hold on to the small multi-tool I also have on my keychain. The strong magnet is impressive as an activation method. I can tug at the light to turn it on and while it disengages enough to activate it, it doesn't exactly detach from it. Quickly turning it on and off is really easy; reach for it at the hip, tug slightly, then let go to turn it off. It's very small and doesn't feel bulky on my keychain at all. They include a small plastic sheath for USB plug to protect it, and the tiny carabiner they give you to loop through the hole in the plug and attach it to your keyring keeps it in place. The little mini-carabiner that comes with it is tiny! That said, I tried it with a tiny, generic s-biner I got from the dollar store and that fits just as well, so you have other options if you don't want to use the one they provide. The light it produces is REALLY good. It is very bright for being so small. It might be the brightest flashlight I own at the moment. Very useful. The detachable and magentic design is great. I mostly use it without detaching it completely from the base, but when I do the light is small and lightweight and convenient to use. Since the magnet is so strong, it's not hard to reattach; as long as you line it up close enough, the magnetic connection will snap it in place. Now, the big reason I wanted to write this review right now is that I had a situation where it saved the day the other night. I needed to pop the hood of my vehicle and jump the battery and it was dark out. I keep a cheap worklight in the toolbox I keep in my vehicle, but the batteries in it were dead. Yeesh! But I was able to pull this Olight off my keychain and the magnet on it holds on to the hood of my car really sturdily. The magnet on it is stronger than the magnet on the worklight I keep in my car. And the light is just as bright if not brighter and it provided plenty of light to get things done easily. And then, when I finished under the hood, I forgot to take the light off. I slammed the hood closed then realized I forgot to grab my light again. I thought, "oh great, slamming the hood probably knocked it off and it fell in between things." Nope, it was still firmly attached to the hood even after slamming it closed. So...it has exceeded my expectations. It's really bright, conveniently small, very durable, easy to use and the magnetic connection is very strong. It's immensely useful in every situation I've thrown at it so far. Time will tell on battery life, but so far I haven't had to recharge it and it's going strong after a month. It looks cool, it's very affordable and it's very functional. I'm very happy with this purchase and will probably buy another (or more) soon, to keep a backup for myself or to keep one in my emergency kit in my car or to give as gifts at Christmas. I can't speak to how legit it is for really serious flashlight fans, but for me it's fantastic and I recommend it.

Gadget, Trifle, Keepsake
I wear this around my neck everyday. Been living in the mountains of the Cascades for six months. I have another olight I use but this one I'm always grabbing. Super convenient to charge since it's all built in together and you just plug it into a USB adapter. Last about an hour starts to dim in the end of its battery life but stays decently bright and is very bright at full charge for how little. Olight makes cool spy gadgets with their flashlights, and this and my Oclip definitely make me feel like I'm from the future out here in the wild. I rely on these lights everyday amd dont have a permanent home at the moment. These lights are quick to charge, reliable, and very bright. The magnet is very strong in both this and the oclip. So many things that are metal I find to connect my lights when I need my hands free I even stick my knife on a tree to stick the lights on if I need. Useful trick shown in one of their videos before I bought it and it works. I wouldn't want it on my key chain, I feel that would prematurely break it and possibly activate the light or disconnect it if it's being pressed up against your body and hard metal keys. I wear it around my neck every day, just don't forget it's there because I dipped into Lake Chelan and forgot I had it on. I felt disappointed in myself and not ready to have lost something I couldn't easily replace at the time since I couldn't deliver it to a public pick-up point, since it's a hazardous material. But guess what? It didn't even faze it. It got completely submerged in freezing lake water for about five seconds and worked perfectly well still. If it flickers don't worry it just does that sometimes. I returned my first order because I thought it was defective but it just so little you just give it a gentle tap on something soft like your your arm or just let it magnetically snap back into its nesting socket to reset the battery in place so it's giving it a clear signal again. Super easy fix if that happens I was disappointed at first but my lifestyle is different now days and this this works very well even though that happens at times.

Handy little light
This is the handiest flashlight ever. I am using it much more than I imagined. The 50 lumens provides adequate light for my purposes. It only weighs about 1/2 oz and is barely noticeable clipped my key ring. The battery life is great. The magnetic base is helpful in those situations where it could clip to a metal cabinet, car hood, fender, etc. I really like this small Olight, particularly over similar small, bright lights that take both hands to twist on and off. With this one, you pull it off its base, point and illuminate-with one hand. The magnet guides it back to the base to store securely and turn off automatically-again one handed. I’ve given a couple away to friends who also are impressed by its versatility. It’s really a nice little light.

Glad I purchased this , got a second and 3rd
Great little light - I usually don’t find a reason to have umteen-thousand lumens , or a flashing sequence . Usually just need more light . This thing keeps a charge for so long I’ve not had to charge it yet after the first initial charge . It’s so compact that it can be put right on the subject for that small print or tiny hole or whatever you need to see better . It’s a great little light . Very handy . Has never once popped off its magnet base that hangs on my keychain, off a belt loop . Pretty satisfied with this light

The Coolest EDC Flashlight !
Olight IMINI 2 EDC flashlight. My love of LED flashlights goes way back. Having poor night vision, I never leave home without a pocket flashlight. I recently put in a big order to Amazon for several “ need to have” items. About to tap that PLACE ORDER button I decided to take a look at Olight’s products and maybe give me a treat. Something inexpensive and different from what I already have. WOW, there it was, the tiny, powerful, rechargeable, clever Olight IMINI 2 EDC. Whether I’m looking for my credit card I dropped under the restaurant table or searching for another treasure at a poorly lit estate sale the Olight IMINI is perfect! It’s keychain ready and you don’t need any cable to recharge it, just plug into a USB port. 2 suggestions… 1. check it out on Amazon and 2. consider buying more than one. Give away to friends. They are sooo cool!!

Compact, Bright, and Perfect for EDC
I love this mini keychain flashlight. I purchased my first OLIGHT IMINI 2 in December 2025, and it worked so well that I bought another one. I keep one on my keychain with my keys, and the second one stays on the side of my refrigerator. It is compact, lightweight, and extremely convenient for everyday use. I also really like that it is magnetic and turns on automatically when you pull the flashlight away from the piece attached to your keychain. One of the best features is that there is no button to fumble around with, which makes it quick and easy to use whenever you need it. For such a small flashlight, it is surprisingly bright. The 50 lumens provide plenty of light for everyday tasks, finding things in the dark, and emergency situations. Charging is a breeze because there is no separate charger to keep track of. The charger is built right into the flashlight itself, which makes it even more practical. I also like that it comes in a variety of different colors, so you can choose one that fits your style or makes it easier to spot. This is one of the best products I have found for EDC. It is a true gem of a flashlight.
