1/8 RC Car Starter Box 1/10 Scale Power Box 8IGHT and 8IGHT-T Starter Box for 1/8 1/10 Buggies and Truggys and Losi RC Nitro Engine

This is my first start box so I do not have any experience using any other boxes. But I am happy I purchased this one. It will require 2x- 7.2v batteries and it took me a bit to set it up to hold my car and I did have to reverse the polarity of the motor to match the crank rotation of my engine. I like the steel construction and after using it for several weeks, it still holds my car firmly and has held up very well. The only real complaint I can speak of would be about the magnet on the side to hold tools or your glow driver but it's super weak and pretty much useless. Overall it's works well, its and seems to be very strong.

It's an ok starter box, can be configured to work with just about anything, but there are NO replacement parts anywhere on the net and the wheel will wear out. You're better off buying one of the boxes made by an RC brand like Mugen, losi, associated, etc because those have replacements available and they're about the same price too.

This thing broke the first time I tried to start my rc!!!!
