Good quality, arrived quickly, no problems with leaks around the tap or hose and the extra washers are a bonus.

I have two hoses with metal Hozelock-compatible female connectors on both ends. These male connectors join the hoses together very nicely. So far they are totally water tight and firmly connected. Much better than the genuine Hozelock (but plastic) male-male adapter I have been using. When I bought these, my biggest doubt was whether they would fit my hoses or not. To be clear, these fit the ordinary Hozelock-compatible connector that goes on normal half inch hose pipes.

It's not the fact that several of the pictures show washers that are simply nothing to do with the item , it's not the fact that the item is supplied with 2 loose washers without explaining if there spares or for the male connectors - its the fact that I connected this to my Karcher pressure washer via my new stretch hose from Amazon and water sprayed all over the electrics of the Karcher and into my front door electric socket and me !. Now I tested this for an hour on my new outside tap with 3/4inch thread putting there female and male parts together so as to simply extend the current tap - it leaks everywhere - IT'S JOKE - DO NOT BUY THIS ITEM - SOME ARE MADE TO WORK BUT MOST DO NOT WORK FROM WHAT I HAVE READ - THEY SHOULD NOT BE ON SALE ! NOW I HAVE TO GOTO SCREW FIX

These are real genuine brass. NOT plated like some of the other so called real brass fittings that are made of cheap alloy.
