Great sub-amp replacement!
Absolute better replacement of my original Infinty sub-amp that died! Been a Parts Express customer for many years, was surprised they were the seller of this item, no complaints at all!

Easy bangers right here
Measure, cut, drill, mount, wire, power, thump! Easy as that, I am very happy with these. (I ordered two)

A good amplifer, but has reliability issues...
This a decent subwoofer amplifier. It performs as advertised. It easily powers the Dayton Audio RSS315HF-4 subwoofer to disturbing levels. The great news is that the amp is now about $100 cheaper than last year. The only slight issue is that the amp auto power on function seems to be a bit slow on initializing. The other issue is that for people who need speaker input/outputs to connect to their equipment will be out of luck (not many sub amps support that now, even on name brand commercial subs).UPDATE: After ten months of use, I had to downgrade the sub by one star. I had to relocate the sub in the room. I powered the unit off and moved it. When I powered it back on, a loud thump was heard and the sub amp was dead. I checked the fuse, it was burned out. Replacing the fuse only resulted in another blown fuse. This is exactly the same problem I encountered with my Dayton 1000 watt amp. So far, I bought five different Dayton amps and three have died within a year. Not too promising and very disappointing.I have emailed Parts Express and am awaiting their response. Normally, I get excellent customer service from them.

AVOID. Known design flaw, WILL fail after a few years guaranteed
AVOID. Have bought two of these. Both developed an annoying thumping / popping noise after a few years. They happened just outside the warranty period and Parts Express will not help you whatsoever. I should have learned my lesson after the first one, but gambled that it was a one-off condition. Turns out, reading forums etc, this amp is 100% guaranteed to fail in this manner eventually. Known design flaw.AVOID like the plague.

Sub Amp
I build my own HT subwoofers, this was a great replacement for an existing unit. Solid performance, easily installed and adjustable for the room dynamics.

" Great sound " " Could use some more capacitators though ...
" Great sound " " Could use some more capacitators though - more like the jl audio gotham internal subwoofer amplifier ( 22,000 $ ) !

Excellent plate amp!
Replaced the original (failed) plate amp in a B&W 750 home subwoofer. The Dayton has a much beefier power supply, performs great!

works
it works but the controls are not how they say they are u have to use the high level input gain to turn up the power even tho it says in the instructions that u do not use them if useing the low level sub input but no biggiy the bad is that it has horrible noise form the ground line u have to remove the ground prong on the plug and 95 percent of the hum is gone not 100 % but almost has good power i got to replace my bad plate amp in my peridigm 15" sub witch had no ground prong the cost was not worth it to get to canada in my homwe town i would not bye again because of the bad hum but like i said after removeing the ground prong its alomost all gone i cant hear it when its siting idle so i guess its good
