Useful with a few caveats...
I bought this because it seemed like it might relieve the oseo thumb ache I get from the weight of this new 10" tab. Nope. Still, it's a good idea, worked as promised. Aside from the oseo issues, this product should be useful for many. One of the great benefits is that it makes a great adjustable kickstand. Probably the most useful kickstand one could imagine. One is able to adjust the angle of the tab, use it vertically, horizontally, whatever.Caveats:1. The base ring, once applied, means that attempting to use the tablet without the handle on a flat surface is not practical, as it rocks. I have my tablet in a case, but taking it off doesn't seem like a good idea, since any 'warping' of the back part of the case with the base attached seems like it would detach or loosen the base from its 'grip'.2. While they sell the hand grip separately, they don't sell the base separately, which seems a bit odd. I think it more likely that one would have a need to use one handle between two tablets than a use for two handles for one tablet. As has been mentioned, an "adhesive kit" with a new adhesive ring and plastic putty knife can be had for $12. A bit high, I think, but useful when needed.I emailed support for suggestions of a case for my tablet that would work with TorchGrip, but no reply. One gets the sense that "TorchGrip" is actually a one person enterprise. But I think its a good idea that many could find useful.

Might work if you can get it out of the packaging. The grip is too small for a big hand.
The package is impossible to open. I damaged my product cutting it out of the heavy plastic wrapper. Get a better handle from ComfortHandle.com.

WRIST IS HAAAPEEE!
I was using the Aduro. Thought it was pretty dog gone good initially. Subsequently I noticed the tab feeling more like lead every progressive day so I hunted for an alternative and bumped into this gizmo.Veeery leary about gluing something to non cheap devices I searched for a case that didn't have a stand for my S Pen model tablet. Talk about slim pickins.I gave up. Took the plunge and stuck it on.I love it. Feels like this 1.2 pounder just lost 8 ounces. Soooo glad. And its silent as it rotates. No Click Click Click Click like the Aduro. One star dropped for the plastic dull looking disc. I was expecting more the jewel look of the beautiful Steelie holder devices. My guess, metal was sacrificed to keep this light. I get that but with a high than price tag, I want beauty.

Apex green is only paint
The green color is only some kind of paint. Bought in May, in July the paint started pealing off. Almost gone, not that I care, but what a mess.

TORCHGRIP Grip Stand Works Well on my Samsung Tablet
Torchgrip is a surprisingly good grip and stand for the tablet, in my case a Samsung tablet. The grip fits comfortably in my hand and allows me to manipulate the tablet into various orientations with confidence and ease. Torchgrip is also a versatile tablet stand and it works well of hard and soft surfaces. The ring is easy to attach with a well-designed template to make sure it is centered on the tablet. The 3M adhesive ring makes sure the rotating base stays attached to my Samsung tablet. I attached my ring directly to the tablet but you could easily attach it to most cases. I imagine it will work equally well on any Android, Apple or Microsoft tablets. The grip is removable for easy transport and I noticed on the web site that they have a transfer kit with a putty knife for easy ring removal and a new adhesive ring for when I upgrade my tablet.Gets 5 stars from me!

Very well made and reliable
I’ve been using this product since Oct 2016 on a 12.9” iPad. It’s now Mar 2020 and it’s still going strong. It’s never lost its adhesion to the iPad and it’s even been dropped a few times and the handle came apart. I thought it was broken but it had just popped apart and I was able to easily snap the handle back together and slide onto the ring attached to the iPad. I’m so impressed with this accessory. The handle still rotates easily to accommodate various viewing angles. Wish everything was made so well.Update: Jan 2023Still going strong. Adhesion has never weakened. Still believe this is an exemplary product.

Mixed feelings about this grip
I really wish it had some pivot mechanism to adjust the angle, or if it was designed to support multiple ways to hold it like a popsocket does. The crook of my thumb gets a little fatigued holding my iPad pro 11 with torchgrip for long periods. That said, this has benefited me tremendously. I have cubital tunnel that was severely aggrevated by holding my iPad and this makes all the difference. I'm overall happy with it.

99% perfect. No more wrist pains.
Awesome. Fits the natural twist of your wrists at rest. The other holders work well for quick looks and work but more intense sessions like gaming strain my wrist. TG fixed that. The plastic is nice but In the future a soft version would be nice. A little tennis grip tape really made it work for me. Nice templet to center it. I made mine fit just a tad more to the left to clear my forearm with the Gal Tab s3 9.7. The only negative thing I can think of is no spare tape ring. At that price I think a spare should be included. Very happy and it's almost perfect out of the box.
