Buy a different hook to hang it on.
This arrives in a plain brown cardboard box measuring approx 44cm x 6cm x 6cm.Inside the box, you get the macramé hanging 'frame', a bag of 30 small clothes pegs & a MASSIVE white cup hook style hook to hang it on along with a wall plug.15 of the pegs are unstained 3.5cm long clothes pegs with small hearts attached in different colours (I got light pink, dark pink, green, yellow, dark blue & purple.), while the other 15 are smaller 3cm long pegs whihch were all coloured (mine were red, yellow, orange, white, pink & purple)The hook looks ridiculously oversized & I just used my own thing to hang it on, but you might like it.The macramé hanger is nice, although like knitting, when you first put it up the centre squished together.The wooden rods top & bottom are 1.5cm diameter, which is a nice chunky size that fits well with the macrame work that hangs on it.I had to faff with mine to get it to look neat as it was a bit crumpled up from being in the bag, but once I had done that, this looks just like the product images.Personally, I think the 3cm pegs are too small, but I have other pegs in various sizes so I don't have to use them.I use these to keep notes when planning out pieces of writing & find them really useful as it's so easy to move cards from one place to the other.I also like being able to just pull it off the wall & pop it out of sight if visitors are coming, then put it back up easily once they are gone.Nicely made, although the bottom is a bit loose, so if you have small kids who like to pull at things it is very easy to just pull the stick out & you might want to put it somewhere they can't reach.It's just as easy to thread it back through though, so if you wanted to paint the 2 wooden bits to go with your decorating scheme, it would be very easy to do.
