Nature is the Worst: 500 reasons you'll never want to go outside again

I have something to admit. I need to clear my conscience about this dark secret of mine so here it is. I enjoy reading when I'm on the toilet. There, it's out in the light, it's like a weight off my shoulders to have finally admitted it. When I do my business I need something I can flip through quickly for some interesting factoids or quick humor without the hassle of potentially dropping my $600 dollar phone. I am an avid follower of the Uncle John's Bathroom reader and have worked my way through everyone I could find. Now there is a new sheriff in town, Nature is the Worst has found its place, exalted and revered, in my bathroom. I liked it so much I just ordered a second one to give away as a white elephant Christmas gift. I can't think of a better gift, it's cheap, will get a few laughs when it's opened, and the recipient will actually enjoy their white elephant winnings for a change!

I really liked this book; it was very informative and I learned a lot. I shared some of the factoids with my biologist dad and "Proof that God Was Drunk", a nature-themed Facebook group I belong to. I must say, though, that the jokes (many of which reference celebrities and popular TV show) seem like they'll be very dated within just a few years, whereas the factoids definitely will not. I hope E. Reid Ross comes out with more trivia books in the future; I'd happily read them.

This book is filled with interesting info about all sorts of real creatures.It is well-written and humorous .However,do not eat while you are reading it if you have a weak stomach.Save it for the bathroom😨

This is the worst desk calendar and NSFW. Too much bizaar sexual information which was not shows in the examples. Such as reproduction cell length, reproductive organ anomolies, and in the last two weeks about necrophilia / rape.

Brilliant book. Really funny and informative. Wonderfully written and totally enjoyable.
