Took me 11 hours to build 85% solo
My old swing set was shot. 8 years old, wood looked terrible and the kids were getting splinters. It’s crazy how much some of these places charge for a swing set. I came across this unit on Amazon and liked that it wasn’t wood. It was delivered by a trucking company (not Amazon) who scheduled a time for deliver and luckily it showed up about 10 days earlier than the date I originally selected. Came in 4 boxes with one of those boxes just holding the dome top of the tower.I would say about 80% of the parts were labeled. All of the hardware were blister packaged separately for each individual step. As far as tools I’d recommend, if you have a cordless drill/impact/ratchet with I think it’s a 3/16 Allen key bit, and ½” open end wrench this will surely save you time. I also used a dolly for moving the monkey bars and overhead swing bar into position by myself.Instructions were good but I have to say the BILT app really was the star of show here. Now to be fair, this swingset model 91199 is NOT listed on the BILT app. They have other model numbers that are close, which is what I used. You will still need the paper instructions for this build because some of the parts in the app are not labeled the same as what’s in the box. You could have a hardware kit labeled DHT and in the app it will tell you to look for DYT (as an example). With that issue aside BILT app was an excellent tool. You have a zoomable 3D rendering of the instructions and is so helpful when trying to figure out what hole you are suppose to use when putting it together. For the most part I built this alone in 90+ degree heat. It took me 11 hours (the instructions claim 3 people 8 hours) and the only help I actually had was bolting up the tower poles to the brackets at the beginning, putting together the roof and lifting it into place, and putting together the walls on the base of the tower. There might have been maybe 3 other bolt elsewhere that I needed another pair of hands bc I couldn’t be ontop of the swing set and the bottom at the same time.It seems pretty sturdy. I weigh about 240lbs and I stood up in the tower and felt secure. The flooring of the tower is plastic so it did feel like it had a little give to it but I’m sure would be fine with a couple of kids up there. I also hung on the trapeze bar and nothing moved. One thing to note is that since this is a metal swing set the metal pieces may get hot in the sun. But the same could be said about the playground equipment in your local park.I hope the kids like it and it lasts for years to come.

Looks like brand new!
I spent a lot of money on a nice wood swing set with a small play house that didn’t last 5 years. I bought my son one of these that’s over five years old and it looks brand new. Bought my daughter one last year for her children. When the children have outgrown them, they can sell them. These are expensive, but they last. The assembly is quite time consuming. Do not wait to assemble at the last minute or you will be sorry. Totally worth it in the end.

Love this playground
Awesome playground! It took my husband and a friend 6 hours. I marked all the screws on outside of box and we watched a YouTube video. That helped a ton piece by piece. Such good quality and think this will be great for years to come
