AWESOME CNC Machine, 48v motor and servos, very strong frame. Miles better than similar machines!
I am a hobbyist and engineer, in Los Angeles. I have two of these 3108 Pro Max CNC router machines, plus the 3040 bed extension kit, and the makita trim router motor holder- These are built strong and track very well. the newest version 2023 comes half pre-assembled so it is super easy to put together- plus it comes with an offline controller and nice small parts kit. Service is very good I have had every tech question answered by a support person who understands CNC - That is amazing, really. So I am now a loyal customer.

Tech support almost non exixtant
Although the machine itself is OK for experienced cnc users it lacks any type of user manual except for assembly. When I inquired about which post processor to use, I was told Mach 3 works. Nope, Standard GBRL worked just fine. Did I mention that you can only reach tech support by email. There is no way to talk to an actual person. During assembly, I noticed that the control board only bolts to the top rail. Just a short time after starting to use it the control board went out. I emailed tech support and explained how I determined that the control board was bad. They insisted on me running the same tests I had just run. I got frustrated and ordered a replacement control board to get the machine running again. They were very apologetic and said they would send me a dust shoe and set of bits to compensate. I emailed them as to the status of the dust shoe and bits but the email was ignored. I had also emailed them with questions about the capabilities of the machine and that one was ignored also. I was going to purchase another machine but after my experience with them I am going with a different company.

Missing parts
Missing Z axis limit switch brackets. Have the unit unpacked and partially assembled. Only option is to return the unit? Totally unacceptable. Do not want to have disassemble the unit and repack it to return it.Seller sent limit switches and brackets by DHL!Unit works great now

deceiving is to best way to describe this experience...
So I purchased their last model (not really) same exact model only difference from what I can see is two added screws to the Z/X axis. (Same exact model as the last.) and got it all together.. it works. I have yet to get into the grbl software of it however I’ve only ran it from its remote.. I have to say I’ve built 3 full power house CNC’s from the ground up. This thing is a toy.. a barley usable one at that..there is virtually no weight to this machine.. the fixture plate vibrates so badly that it actually creates chatter in the carving causing tear out on wood so I can only imagine what it would do to any other material.. yes it’s fully aluminum which is ok.. but it needs more.. allot more to be able to work well.. I’m personally upgrading to 1204 ball screws and HGR15 linear rails.. getting rid of the joke T8 lead screws that would be used on typical 3-D printers as well as the currently weak and flexible rails.. I’m also replacing the current flimsy fixture plate with a solid 1/2in aluminum one that will have tapped holes all over it..I would like to add that lead screw nut housing holes were not even drilled properly or tapped properly. I could barely catch threads on the stock ones…. I also had to cut on my other CNC spacers to add tension to the lead screws and still they were junk and had slight backlash..a 1/4in backing plate to add rigidity as well as a drag chain to keep the cables free and clear of the spindle.. (something that should have come that way)And the reason why I’m leaving my review on this CNC listing versus the listing where I purchased mine is the the same exact maker was getting negative reviews on their last CNC cutter and made a whole new listing to get rid of that feedback.. people deserve to know what they are getting into and what others have experienced.

Great price and value for this CNC router package, Highly recommend!
I purchased this CNC for hobbyist woodworking, plastics, and light metal work. Out of the box, the quality was good. Moving to assembly things were a bit more challenging, some of the pictures were small and hard to read. I was able to find several videos on YouTube, which made it easier. I wanted a better router motor, so I purchased a Makita mini router and the upgraded clamp so I could use it. I have to say ANNOYTOOLS tech support was friendly, supportive, and knowledgeable. I got through all my technical issues. It took me a while to get used to CNC coding, YouTube is your friend and so is ANNOYTOOLS tech support they got me through my hurdles and learning curve. ANNOYTOOLS support always got back to me surprisingly fast. If I can do it, so can you, learning is part of the fun.Overall I found this to be a great tool, I have done several projects with great success using different materials. I find this CNC to be able to do more than I have been able to think of so far and exceed's my expectations. You will find another place to send money on router pits, lol.In short, I recommend this product. Like anything in life there is a learning curve once you work through it great product.
