Pelican 8 Quart Personal Lunch Box Coolers

I love this cooler/lunchbox! *My wife kept “borrowing” (see stealing) my lunchbox, so I wanted one that would be so large and awkward that she would never steal it. Not only does this do the trick, but it also holds a good amount of food, keeps my food cold, has a built-in ice pack and dry zone. It has quickly grown on me. I hope I don’t get tired of lugging it around.

Fantastic cooler. Not only was it exactly what I needed when returning to work postpartum and needing to store breastmilk throughout the day, but now my two toddlers use it every day as their favorite toy. It’s a drum, it’s a walker, it’s fun to carry around and put stuff in… and it’s perfect to bring cool snacks to the pool. Can’t recommend it enough, I’ve had it two years now.

Good quality. Perfect for my lunch. Doesn't seem to leak if tipped over. My one complaint is that the lid when open makes it too top heavy so it can fall over easily or the lid will slam shut.

I thought about buying this cooler for a long time before I jumped. It is very high-quality, but the size is a little bit too narrow in the width. It cannot fit a 16 ounce can laying down side to side and a square Tupperware container holding a sandwich will not fit as well. Otherwise it’s pretty good. One nice feature is the compartment on the top that can hold a cell phone. Hey pelican, make it wider.

This was given as a gift. My son is enjoying the versatility as he uses it every day on his job. The design to accommodate the ice packs, and the insulation and secure seal keep his lunch protected from the summer heat without touching his packaged lunch to prevent sogginess. It is very portable and made of quality material to make it easy to clean.

This is a great lunchbox cooler. It's large enough to put a large ice pack and 3 drinks, and it still has space to put a couple of snacks on the top in the organizer that comes with the lunchbox. But not too large to take up a lot of space where you will like to store it. One of the best features of this lunchbox is a ice pack that is included. It keeps my food and drinks cold all day. I definitely recommend this lunchbox if you're looking for a high quality one.

Nice cooler but way too small. Way overpriced for the size. This is like a child’s lunchbox. Nice cooler if you were carrying a six pack to a party and wanted to carry it by your side. Not for a labor working adult for their lunch. You probably need the 14 ounce.

8qt version. Perfect lunch box. Will stay cold for two solid days with the built in cold slab and a couple of slim ice gel packs. Perfect size for fitting into a work duffel bag, solid as a rock, will last decades. Best lunch box I’ve ever had. Good volume inside even with extra cold packs. Perfect for enough food for a 12+hour work shift.

It is a money value product , good quality as expected.

Pelican have a reputation for building robust, functional products and this cooler is no exception. It's price reflects it's build quality and I was very happy when I unboxed it.
