No regrets- this one is a winner!
This is a really great machine at this price point. I was looking to replace a k-cup making machine that gave out, and it did not have a reservoir. I thought I would buy this one and just use the k-cup feature, but I absolutely love how easy it is to make a single serve cup using fresh grounds- I'm not sure I can go back to k-cups! The coffee over ice is also exceptional- I have had some really sad coffee over ice and this one is rich and full of flavor. The storage feature for the adapter not in use is wonderful, and having the coffee grounds scoop hooked onto the machine is so convenient. If I had one complaint, it would be that it is a bit noisy when brewing, but I'll let that slide since the coffee tastes so good. I did purchase paper coffee filters here on Amazon for my fresh grounds and those are very helpful. This is a solid little machine that will make the coffee part of your day a little brighter!

love it
I replaced my Hamilton Beach Scoop with this Ninja because my old machine never made coffee hot enough. Right out of the box, I ran a brew cycle with plain water and could immediately see steam coming from the cup. After brewing my first cup of coffee, the difference was obvious. The coffee comes out hot, stays hot, and has much better flavor. I like how easy it is to use with regular ground coffee. The removable reservoir is convenient, the grounds basket is simple to fill and clean, and I don't have to mess with reusable pods. The ability to brew different cup sizes is also a nice feature. The only thing I don't love is that the machine makes some unusual noises while brewing. Nothing seems wrong with it, and it works perfectly, but it is definitely noisier than my previous coffee maker. Overall, I'm very happy with the purchase. If you're looking for a single-serve coffee maker that uses ground coffee and actually brews a hot cup of coffee, I would recommend it.

A very good coffee maker
When my Keuring coffee maker died after only a couple of years of use I started looking for a replacement. I had heard that Ninja had a good reputation for making quality appliances and when I learned they made a coffee maker that gave you the choice of using ground coffee or Kcups I was intrigued. I do prefer ground coffee as it is much more affordable than the Keuring cups and ...well...I just feel ground coffee...especially the way I prefer it.....black ...tastes better. I was never quite satisfied with the Keuring coffee makers they were so ugly looking and the coffee they made....I guess I already went over that...but anyway as a single old guy who just wanted a single cup of coffee in the morning I was stuck with Keuring. I have had the Ninja Pods and Grounds coffee maker for about 6 months now and I have to say I am very pleased with the product...maybe even more than pleased. As I mentioned I am a black coffee drinker. This coffee maker does a superb job of making a good cup of coffee. I prefer using the "rich" mode as it brings out all the flavors of my coffee. Another thing. I like my coffee hot. I am scratching my head over reports from some other reviewers saying the Ninja does't come through with hot coffee. What? My coffee is always hot from my Ninja. Forgot to mention that my morning routiine also includes a cup of green tea and let me tell you this Ninja comes through with flying colors in brewing a an excellent cup of tea. All I have to do is place a tea bag in the basket put it on "rich" mode and it produces a wonderful cup of green tea. I have the Ninja Pods and Grounds coffee maker that comes in "stone" color that looks so nice on my kitchen counter. It takes up less space than the aforementioned Keuring and gets a lot of compliments. I think it really looks classy. I like the fact that you can adjust the little tray to accomodate any size cup and it will even accomodate my travel mug. Yay! One final note..regarding Kcups...I am not totally against them In fact I keep a few around when I am too lazy to measure out a ground coffee cup o' joe and also for when I have company and need faster coffee making in those situations. The Kcups work great on this machine. Don't know what to say except I hightly recommend this Ninja and think you'll really like it.

Great choice for price range, But not the best
Solid choice for coffee maker not the best. Has multiple options which make it easy to use. Cleaning is simple if you use pods or grounds and it comes with both setups. But unfortunately it is not the best when it comes to making coffee and likes to make a mess when making a cup.

Love the performance, no issues as others reported.
My wife and I love this thing. It makes great coffee, you can set a wide range of amounts from a small brewing basket or any K-cup, and it’s fast. We spent a lot of time looking over ratings for this one and a few others and risked the bad ratings on leaks and fragile plastic. Replacing a dual-function Cuisinart that had a k-cup on one side and a regular pot brewing on the other, we worried most about the plastic complaints. We filled the old one and this one with a base based nozzle from the faucet on the old one and the new one so we were less concerned with that, but the strength and thickness of the Ninja is at least as good as the Cuisinart coffee maker’s single cup brewing water container. I think it will stand up as long as we do not drop it. That breaks a lot of modern plastic containers. The packing was the usual adhesive plastic film over many spots to protect scratches, molded cardboard on top and bottom, and heavy cardboard beyond that, then the typical good Amazon packing. Nothing bounced around and all was intact. No issues there. The other complaint was leaking. We did not see that issue, but one thing I learned the hard way with the old coffee maker’s k-cup adapter, was that it was very important to seat the plastic cup before pushing down the cover. There are two puncture points, the bottom into the cup’s plastic and the top through the thin film top. Because the bottom pushes directly through when you push it down before closing the top that pivots down in a quarter circle, not doing that first causes the top cover to tear the film too much and it leaks around the top cover seal. If you push it down first, the tear is absent or minimized and does not leak. It took me quite a while to figure that out and later have my wife give me an “Of course, you idiot. Read the instructions “ remark. This may be the cause of others seeing leaks. And they are messy, with wet coffee grounds flowing all over. Push the cup down. We also happen to like the retro color blue. It looks like 50’s/60’s appliance colors of old. We like that look versus the ubiquitous stainless steel all over. So far, glowing remarks. If anything changes I’ll post another TLDR review.

Makes a great cup and IMO works better than the Keurig
I have had multiple Keurigs over the past many years, some very high end ones to the new multi-stream. They all started out good, then end up working poorly and eventually breaking with no clear way on how to fix them. I almost went back to a drip maker because I was fed up with the keurigs. Instead, I did some research and with all the reviews, decided to try this Ninja maker and dang am I impressed. First off it is much more visually appealing than any of the Keurigs, the water tank holds plenty of water so you don't have to refill constantly. The construction of the thing is very well done, super solid device. The lid and the water tank are very tight, and even though it only uses one hole to punch the K-cup, the coffee is super rich and flavorful, IMO much better than the Keurig models. I like a dark cup and the classic drip is perfect for daily drinking. The strong setting gets the job done when you really need a heavy cup of joe. For the electronics and settings, I ABSOLUTELY LOVE the fact that it remembers your last setting (so does the new Keurig multi stream) but you do NOT have to open the lid or push the power button to cycle the system to complete a tall cup. Just push the brew button again and off it goes, no fuss. It is also a semi-always on tech, meaning, you don't have to wait for the water to heat before it starts brewing. The mini grounds brew also does an almost perfect job, however, I have only used this twice just to say I had. The internal storage container is a plus since you don't have to use a drawer in your kitchen to store parts for the Ninja. I almost wish I had bought the frother version, just because I like accessories and it looks really cool. The price was great, keep a look out for sales. I think I got this one for under $100 which you most certainly cannot do if you go Keurig. Overall, I am soooo happy with this product. I recommend it to everyone I know Hope you enjoy your next cup ☕

Awesome coffee machine by Ninja
This is the best coffee maker I’ve ever owned. Have tried many Keurig and have always been disappointed. This Ninja machine is quite, quick and easy to use. The iced coffee option is a huge bonus! I’m impressed with the quality of the machine and how easy it is to clean. For those of you who have had to return the machine because of the electrical plug and voltage in your country, read the whole description of the product before you purchase it. It tells you exactly what the voltage is for this machine. For those of you looking for a great machine in the U.S. give this one a try.

READ CAREFULLY!
***Update 4/20/2025- Machine still going and working properly. I use it 2-3 days a week (when coffee shop is closed) THIS IS NOT AN EXPRESSO MACHINE. What I've discovered: Coffee isn't as hot as I like it- Make sure to let the machine sit for a few mins before brewing or run a 6oz of water thru. if I don't want to wait, I just heat up my cream in the microwave. I brew ground coffee on rich setting at 14oz, and it is quick and does brew a nice cup (if using good coffee) the coffee itself makes a difference. It is easy to clean BUT you need to clean it every time IF you're using pods that contain milk. If you're just running regular coffee/pods, then I clean once a week. Water tank size- I'm the only one in the house that uses it, so it's fine. If you have more than 2 ppl using, then it might be too small, and you may need to refill often. I use tap water (well water with softener) and have not had an issue. Froth vs no froth- The universe was looking out for me. If I had the model with the froth wand I don't think I would use it. Do I recommend? -looking for a budget friendly single serve coffee maker then YES. I don't regret my purchase. -Looking for an expresso machine instead of going to coffee shop. NO keep shopping this is not for you. I deducted 1 star just because it's not as hot as I would like and you can't adjust the temp. but overall, it's a really good machine and I really love the storage it has! ***THE END** I picked the stone-colored coffee maker, and it DOES NOT have a froth function like the other colors! I'm okay with it because it was not a selling point for me. They sent me the PB041 I thought I ordered the PB051. SO again, just pay attention before you check out! On the other hand, this thing is beautiful! Has storage for all of its components! I will update my review once I use it... I literally just unboxed it! ::Same day update!:: I'm absolutely in love with this coffee maker! There is trial and error to get your preferred ratio of flavor but that is true for any new coffee maker. 5 stars!

Not Suitable For Use In the UK
What an utterly disappointing experience. It is beyond me as to why Ninja would sell ANY of their coffee makers on the Amazon UK site when they come with AMERICAN PLUGS! There is no mention of this in the listing anywhere. Selling a product no one can use….what is even the point. Don’t let the reviews fool you, they are all from the Amazon US site just plastered on this UK posting to make it look good. Ninja makes great machines but not for users in the UK. Also, Amazon Customer Service is absolutely worthless. They said this machine could be used with a power adapter. It CANNOT. If you live in the UK and you need a very large paper weight, this is the right product for you.
