Absolute terrible toaster. Definitely the worst one I have ever owned. I would give it 0 stars if I could. There is no way a toaster set at this price should operate in the way this one does. Not only does it burn the bottom corners of bread to a black crisp, it doesn’t actually toast the inner parts of the bread at all. Immediately starts burning the toast and smoking up the kitchen no matter what time setting it is on. It is such a disappointment, as my other Black + Decker appliances are all great quality and price. I am very upset at the price I paid for this absolutely terrible product. I might reconsider ever buying from this company again.

It was time to replace our old toaster that was starting to give up on us. This was a no brainer. A good brand, and a very simple, intuitive design. I needed something that toasted my bread and bagels without having too many buttons or knobs. This meets the requirements and is light, and love the sleek look too. I've had good luck with this brand in the past so I'm hopeful for the durability too. No complaints from me.

It is basic and it does work. I like the size of the slots and it toasts quickly. I use it daily for about a week now. Hazards are it is very very very light weight. The first time I used it, when I pushed down the handle the toaster flipped over. It does get better, not good, as you use it more. Remedies, you can hold down the toaster as you push down on the handle, but the body of the toaster gets quite hot. Enough that you quickly let go of the toaster. So I put my thumb on the handle and pointer finger around the darkness knob and squeeze for 1 handed use. The other issue is the darkness selector is not light enough for some breads so you turn the darkness selector to minimum and give a little extra pressure and it will pop up. Appearance is nice and we got the silver color. The price is also high for this quality.

I purchased this Black & Decker two slice toaster to replace a Cuisinart toaster that I ruined by taking it apart to extract a piece of bread that got stuck. I’m happy with how this performs in terms of toasting. It seems to toast evenly across a slice and evenly between the opposite sides of a slice. The brownness control knob turns easily, but not so easily that it feels like it’s not working. The slots are extra wide to accommodate various types of bread. I would prefer the slots be just a little bit longer, because the Arnold rye bread that I tried to toast was a little too long for the slots. However, for most breads, the slot length is probably adequate. The one glaring issue with this toaster is that it does not have a cancel button. It took me a while to realize that canceling a toasting cycle is done by turning the knob fully counterclockwise until you feel a click. That seems like a clever design, but it needs to be explained more clearly in the manual Overall, though, I’m more or less satisfied with this toaster, given its relatively low price point.

It's a nice toaster, it seems as though the "front" slot might be for "one slice" toasting. It's quiet, easy to clean, and the only complaint I have is that the slots are not long enough (they are plenty wide) to accommodate my Brownberry 12 Grains and Seeds bread. I need to trim off about 3/4" from the edge of the slice to get it to fit. This doesn't bother me too much, and my dog is pretty excited about the arrangement!

Horrible toaster. Bought this to use in our travel trailer. The "shade setting" dial doesn't seem to do anything. If I want to interrupt the toasting cycle I have to unplug the thing as I can't just move the handle up. It works very poorly and is very flimsy construction. We used it for the one trip but I'm tossing it into the Goodwill bin. What a joke. I had hoped Black & Decker would have made at least a marginally acceptable toaster but I was wrong. I don't write a ton of reviews but have done some. I think this may well be my first one star review. Do yourself a favor and buy something better.

Had I seen this toaster in person, I wouldn’t have bought it. Very lightweight. Takes multiple times to toast item. I never dreamed I’d have to spend more than $30 to get a decent one.

Muy bueno en general pero las rejillas casi siempre queman algunas partes del pan. La base removible de abajo para las migajas no concentra todas así que se quedan muchas dentro. Buen material estético metálico. No ha fallado después de varios meses de uso

El botón qué ajusta la temperatura esta muy flojo y se cambia muy fácilmente solo.
