I brought a Neewer light box to do portraits with but I found that for the necessary brightness I needed it either hurt my eyes or made everything look very shiny. This soft box definitely helped to soften the harshness while still providing full brightness. It’s easy to take on and off of a light box, keeps it’s shape and very light weight. One of my concerns was it was going to make my light box top heavy with the stand I currently have however that was not the case. Some soft boxes I’ve seen are huge so I’m grateful it’s proportionate in size. It doesn’t winkle or crease easily either as I imagined so it easy to pack up when traveling and you don’t have to worry about it becoming ruined. Overall very pleased with my purchase!

This does a fantastic job of diffusing the light. The velcro system is easy to operate and secure. Works fantastic. I have zero problems with tilting and hitting the frame, but I can understand what people are complaining about. If you use light stands, then the frame will prevent you from tilting the light downward due to how the standard light mount attaches to the stand. However, I use the ceiling rail system, so my lights are hanging from movable mounts on the ceiling, thereby eliminating any tilting issues since the light mount comes from above, not below. If that's your setup, you will freakin' love these.

Works well. easy to use. would recommend. keeps light soft and focused in front of the box (does not spill out on the backdrop). I used the softbox for mobile photo and video, product photography, and video work. The diffuser is nice for reducing harsh shadows. If you are using it for portrait photography one unit will only light a small area. Maybe 4 ft of light at 4-6 ft. distance. Consider multiple units if you need to light more area.

When you put it on a light stand, the soft box gets in the way of being able to point it down, which is sort of the way lights are always pointing? Like, put it up high, and tilt it down. But you can't with this. Unless I'm missing something? Other than that it fits perfectly onto my Neewer LED light which I love.

This little diffuser is great. It, surprisingly, makes a HUGE difference in the quality of light. I didn't redirect it to be a effective as it is. The only issues I've had are that it's really difficult to get back into its carry bag and that you can't tilt your light down when you have the diffuser on. I got around the tilting issue by purchasing this ( https://www.amazon.com/dp/B07Z4VLXSP?ref=ppx_pop_mob_ap_share) head attachment. Once you pop this on, you can tilt the light again.Highly recommend this diffuser, it softens the light much more than you would think for that price.

This is a cheap softbox so it won’t. Have as good of a quality of diffusion as you would normally find with more expensive softboxes. That being said, it does what it is meant to.Is it the best in the world? NoIs it a good starter softbox? YesIt is very easy to use and set up. Which I found helpful. Though I ended up buying a different softbox for my main light because it has a grid, which helps direct and focus the light, and this one does not.

I think these are essential if you have the 660 Neewer LED panels. The issue is trying to get them attached to the panel and then getting them back into the bag. There are even Youtube videos showing you how to twist them in order to fit back into the bags. I have 2 panels so I was dealing with 4 bags (2 panels and 2 softboxes). My solution is to leave the soft boxes attached to the panels, collapse the four corners and drop both panels into a pizza carrying bag (18"x18x5). A $20 option that worked perfectly. It now takes just seconds to open the stands, pull out the lights and straighten the four corners. Add batteries and you are ready to go. Throw away the Neewer bags which are not all that great anyway. Voila!

It performs its function 100%.

fits the 600 series light perfectly, a bit on the expensive side - but it assembles super easy and stays assembled. It has magnetic coupling arms at the corners which make it a bit tricky to get them to align, but once they are in position they hold perfectly. Great fit, and looks like a quality build. Bought many elenchrome products in the past, and this is just as good as any professional gear I have ever owned.
