Square kotasu table

I (and my cats!) enjoy this kotatsu so much. It was pretty pricy but easy to assemble, and the quality is decent. Perfect for one or two people!

Kids tested, mother approved. Easy to set up, no instructions given or needed. I did put the legs on backwards at first but easy fix with the supplied tool. Definitely glad I got the lower wattage converter. The table sits pretty low to the floor, hard for an adult to get under it. I sit off to the side under the futon. Plenty of space for 5 people (2 adults 1 tall teen and 2 kids). The heater does heat the bottom of the table but the table is made so it can take the heat. Make sure to turn off before bed. I unplug the table since my dog loves chewing on cords and this one lays on the floor. The cats love the table, sleeping under the heater for hours. Highly recommend chairs or pillows to sit on. This table will be a cute coffee table in the summer, good size for our small livingroom.

Thrilled. Did need to purchase a power converter JP to US but it's not a big deal, just gave us a longer cord ultimately. We literally use this every single day, it will be a coffee table during the summer. It's a pretty standard size for kotatsu, it would really work with most square blankets but we did but one made specifically for this purpose. We absolutely love this table. It is very warm and functional with an adjustable heat setting. Recommend floor cushion or floor seats with backs.

Works well, but it is not as sturdy and quality work as I expected for this price. For example, the protective stickers attached to the legs came off after a week. Also, the color did not match the photo, but I guess that is expected when you order online.

We really wanted to try having a kotatsu and this table was exactly what we were looking for. The wood finish is lovely and fits with our cream aesthetic in our apartment. I was afraid the heating unit could accidentally burn me with my legs underneath but it's actually covered in a soft material. Even with the kotatsu on, it doesn't burn at all when I directly touched it!

The table works as designed, but I find the two thumb screws that hold the tabletop and table together as odd. You would need to cut your futon if you choose to secure the tabletop.
