A comprehensive guide to fundraising.
I chose this book since we're looking for investors, and it more than lived up to my expectations and gave me a lot of useful information. This book will be a huge help to you if you're a startup wanting to raise funds because it explores fundraising options, including equity crowd funding. The only setback I could see was in the sentence structure; sometimes, I had to go through a sentence more than once to understand it, but that doesn't take away from how valuable this book is. I like how thoroughly this topic has been covered by the author because it eliminates the need to read other books to gain a good understanding of the subject.

Lot of info
This book, or playbook, has a lot of information in it about Venture Capital. It's really long. However, sometimes the author's word choices and sentences structure are hard to understand. Also there is a space after each sentence or two instead of having paragraphs.

Great intro into the world of venture capital!
This book is an excellent intro into venture capital. It covers all relevant topics and provides future founders with helpful tips that will make their life easier. The author clearly knows what he is talking about. The book itself is mainly written for entrepreneurs and startups, not so much for investors. Only downside of the book is the length (over 400 pages) and that it sometimes comes across as poorly structured. However I definitely recommend it to anyone who wants to learn more about venture capital!

A great gift!!
"The Venture Capital Playbook: Step by Step Venture Capital Fundraising, Term Sheets, Valuation & Crowdfunding Guide For Startup Founders, Entrepreneurs, Angels, Venture Capitalists & Fund Managers" written by Umran Nayani is 435 pages of gold for anyone wanting to raise money for their dream project. This amount of pages might seem intimating to some but it is worth it. This would make a great gift!!

Top read for venture capitalists
If you're wanting to og down the venture capital route for financing your business then this will certainly be a good book for you or read. The author has done a really nice job at making it easy to read and understand. The technical terms have been broken down into plain English.

Double‑space the text to inflate the page count feels is ridiculous
It's essentially a loose collection of dialogues with very little structure. The decision to double‑space the text just to inflate the page count feels cheeky and frankly a bit ridiculous.

It's like a joke.
If you really don't know anything about startups, some pages might be interesting, and vice versa, it's like a joke. After each line, the author leaves another line of space - 400 pages in reality are maybe 70-90. Anyway, at the beginning of each new "chapter" there is a sentence that says what you will find in that "chapter". But there is no chapter ahahah The "chapter" ends at the bottom of the page. Basically, the index is a summary of the topic of each page. Anyway, maybe the general structure of the book isn't great, but let's get on with it. Each topic is like a conversation with the author, who never, never, never goes into depth. If you want to go deep, you have to get in touch with him and his company. If you find an interesting "chapter", there is no explanation, there is a LINK. If you search the link, you have to be approved by him on Google Drive to access the documents. About the documents (I only opened two of them, which should have been of interest to me) -> one of them is like blank - nothing to read, just a list of concepts, but there is no value. The other is something you can find on the web or, if you think about the problem for 30 seconds, you can work out the solutions yourself. So the link and the Google Drive are like a funnel to get in touch with readers' emails. Which is even sadder. It's sad for the author, it's sad for the readers. It's like a joke. I'm sorry.

Poor structured topics and hard to follow
Read the first 100 pages and the story line of single topics is hard to follow. Sometimes it seems more like a range of different statements than a comprehensive text.

AI generated crap!
Unreadable text, clearly written by AI or a child, with references to graphs not in the book! A collection of words in random order!
