Bluewave Lifestyle GEN3 Water Bottle Carrying Holder Case

I loved this little bag, but was a little disappointed when it arrived, that the top was very thin, and not at all insulated. I was helping a friend move, (in south GA heat in August) and used it to keep my water bottle from sweating everywhere, nearby and protected from everything we we were stirring up. After the move, we went to a huge event in downtown Denver, CO, and it was great to be able to carry my water bottle in the bag. I was using a water bottle with a filter, so I can refill anywhere with potable water, and not get the yucky tap water taste. Very convenient with this bag. However, there were a few issues. The top of the bag that cinches closed ripped halfway off in less than a week of use. It was right across the seam, so it was definitely due to poor, or faulty, craftsmanship. Without the top closing, the bottle would sometimes slip out, and the top was not covered, so it's less insulating, and didn't cover the drinking spout on the bottle. I never used the front pocket because it seemed so poorly made that I was worried that whatever was in there may fall out. I didn't trust the zipper to stay closed, or the pocket to stay intact. Also, the strap would be hugely improved of a strap pad was added, and if the clips were made of higher quality plastic, or even metal. I didn't use it much after it ripped, but I expect with regular use the strap would not last. It's a great idea, the color was great, the size was good, just pretty poorly made. Which is so disappointing, because I would have been using it a lot if it hadn't started falling apart after only a few days. With some higher quality materials, better workmanship, and some minor adjustments, this would be a great little bag!

I bought 2 of this size. they are amazing. We took them to Disney. I bought 2 different colors so we could tell whos was whos. They used their favorite water bottles and still had room for a couple of granola bars. Even the little zipper pocket was great for emergency contact cards and some cash. They wore them non stop from the flight to Orlando through seven days of park hopping and then back through the Atlanta international airport to home. This was a wonderful investment. The construction is very durable with insulated lining to keep things cold. They are light weight enough that no one complained of being uncomfortable. Not once did I have to remind the girls to keep up with their water!

This water bottle carrier is very attractive! I bought it in the purple color, and it is very bright and pretty. The insulation seems very good, and the strap seems very sturdy & seems well attached to the bag.Unfortunately, the carrier doesn't serve my purposes well, because the pocket is *extremely* shallow. I could fit my bus pass in there, but nothing else, not even my very thin wallet or my iPod. I like a water bottle carrier that can carry a few of my small possessions, so that I don't have to carry a purse at the same time, but this doesn't fit the bill.In short, if you want a good water bottle carrier & don't care about having a pocket, this is probably a good choice. The variety of colors is especially nice! But if you want a pocket you can actually use, I would instead recommend the BVT Go Caddy, also available here on Amazon (http://www.amazon.com/BVT-Products-Go-Caddy-Black/dp/B005UZHU5I), which has roomy but unobtrusive pockets that I have found extremely useful.

I put in the "Clear American" flavored sparkling water bottles (33.8 fl. oz) that I buy at the Walmart. I did have to reinforce the bottom of the bottle carrier as the bottles I put the water in do not have flat bottoms. I had a round rubber smiley face window sticker that fit perfectly in the bottom to give the needed support. That way I can sit it down and have it stay upright. I suppose you could fit a plastic lid into the bottom. Love being able to carry my water bottle around with a shoulder strap. So glad these are available.

Fit a 700 ml bottle of frozen water perfectly. Was snug enough not to slide around but loose enough to easily retrieve and replace while out walking or jogging. The sport cap was outside of the drawstring so more than three quarters of the bottle was contained within the bag. After 2 hours in 85-90 degree temperatures the bottle was still half frozen. I haven't tried a full liter yet but I don't doubt that will work similarly.The front pocket is really small. Credit cards and single keys would be a good fit. I managed to get in my car key ring which has a small car fob, long car key, and 3 door keys; but, it was a dickens of a time getting them out again. With the nice zippered pocket, I had hoped to be able to carry just this while out on my jogs and not worry about losing my keys, but its too hard to get in and out unless I only carry the key that is needed that day.I had been looking for a bottle holder that could strap onto a belt and thought between the included carabiner and strap I could rig something. I was pleasantly surprised that I could adjust the shoulder strap to fit around my waist so I could carry it on my hip with more stability that just the carabiner in the rear. For a normal stroll the carabiner itself seemed adequate. Since the strap is removable, you can also change it out with a size that fits your needs.

It is advertised as holding 1 litre of water, but when I put in a 500ml normal plastic water bottle in it, there was certainly no room for another 500ml bottle, so I am not sure why it is advertised as being 1 litre. However, it looks as though it will be suitable for what I ordered it for - touring in a hot climate - so I have ordered another one.

Do not take any notice of the photos that Amazon supply with this item, The silver thermal insert that is shown isn't there and the loop on the back with the carabiner isn't there. It is a plain bag with a draw chord and a strap. that is it. I don't think that Amazon are fully conversant with the British Trades description act.

These are great water bottle holders - kept water frozen/cold for hours and were perfect for long days at theme parks! Has handy front pocket. Some of the stitching has come undone a little, but is easy enough to fix.
