These are robust, comfy, stay up without being too tight, can be worn comfortably in any temperature from -5 to +20, and look good (although whoever thinks brown is green needs to pop along to a certain store for savings on specs!)I'd certainly recommend them, and have been buying them for years. Treat your feet well.

The whole range of Bridgedale socks are excellent. They are definitely the best hiking socks I have ever used in over 25 years of hiking. Each pair performs very well indeed for many years. Even if you have to put them on wet whilst up a mountain, they warm up quickly and are preferable to other socks. I have had a few pairs of the heavier weight socks (various Bridgedale product names) for nearly ten years....they have eventually needed to be replaced for mountain use... but are still perfectly good inside slippers...in the garden... or anywhere else where this standard of sock would seem totally unnecessary. The newest incarnation (Woolfusion Trekker) provide a standard of comfort, fit, cushioning and wicking that I have not found in any other product. They effectively upgrade and improve your boots. Bridgedale is the gold standard.

The man's large size that I purchased is a very comfortable fit for my wide foot (9.5-10 UK shoe size). They are padded in all the important areas and seem to provide the level of cushioning I require for days hill walking in Wales and the Lakes without my feet overheating in leather boots. They are durable given that these were purchased as replacements for previous pairs of the same which after a number of years of light use do need replacing. In short, a quality hill walking sock from Bridgedale that represents good value for money.

I've used Falke Walkie socks for a number of years, but recently the quality and wear resistance seems to have gone downhill. Reviews encouraged me to try Bridgedale Trekker socks as an alternative. Initial impressions are of a very comfortable, well made and close fitting sock. Less bulky than the Falke equivalent but no less warm for it. The Bridgedale is a standard universal fit sock, compared with the fitted left/right design offered by Falke. No difference in comfort is apparent when worn. The Trekker features an elasticated panel at the Achilles heel area, holding the sock closer and helping to avoid bunching. I've held back on a fifth star until the wear qualities can be tested over coming months. Bridgedale clearly feel confident in the product, offering a three year replacement guarantee in the event wearers are not completely satisfied with the quality and performance. I bought a couple of pairs and they're seeing daily use on my walks with the dogs, covering a few miles at a time. Experience so far tell me I've made a good choice.

I have to walk around 8-10 miles a day in my job so needed durable and comfortable socks. Other socks seem to wear holes within a few weeks worth but these last a hell of a lot longer! Nice and warm on a cold morning too! (But you wont notice them during the summer too much other than the comfort)

I have two pairs of Bridgedale Everyday Outdoors Cushioned City Light Men's Socks that I purchased in 2013 for the colder weather but didn't wear them until recently. I wish I had worn them sooner! They are so comfy and cosy compared to normal socks.I decided to order some more but rather than just go for the same thought I'd see what else was on offer and after reading reviews of various socks available decided on these even though there aren't a massive number of reviews compared to some others. The "reliable year round performance" got me.They are expensive compared to normal socks but are worth it as they are really, really comfortable even when worn all day long inside some big heavy boots and my feet don't get too warm and aren't sweaty when I take them off even after being on my feet or riding for hours. I may order some more as these will be my everyday sock now I think.They arrived from Army Sales quickly and well packaged. Recommendable seller and socks!

My favourite pair of socks. Perfect in every way (comfort, grip, durability, sweat absorbing, doesn’t cut off the blood circulation). It’s just a bit too expensive, wish I could get a meaty discount to buy many more :)This is my 3rd purchase for the exact same model from Bridgedale. And believe me I have tried other models/ series of Bridgedale but none of them are as good as this one.
