Sparkling Essence

I love Clearly Canadian and hadn't seen it years. I do love the regular flavors but I wanted something without added sugar. The balance of flavors in this infused water is very pleasant and refreshing

I drink sparkling water regularly and have tried pretty much every major brand and many flavors. That said with this one, I enjoyed a different Clearly Canadian flavor that had stevia, but this plain sparkling grapefruit one was more lackluster than I anticipated. I don't expect huge flavor from a sparkling water but the grapefruit flavor here is kind of weak and I've had better tasting grapefruit flavors in other, well-known brands at far less of a price. The glass bottles do come extremely well packaged, but for the price and the flavor, I give this three stars. I'll enjoy drinking the remaining bottles that I have, but I wouldn't buy this again.

Excellent product! Would love to see this in larger bottles but nevertheless, I love it! Beats anything out there on the market.

This review is of the grapefruit essence. I didn’t realize when requesting this product for review it was similar to hint and calorie free. The other clearly Canadian products I’ve tried were sweetened and had a lot more flavor than this particular product. While I heavily prefer that line of their products this would be enjoyed by those seeking calorie and sugar free water. The flavor is very light but the sparkling aspect isn’t off putting as you might expect. I wouldn’t personally buy this over the regular flavors but it would be good for those watching calories and sugar content. I generally buy a bottle of clearly Canadian water at world market every visit, knowing Amazon sells it makes getting it much easier. The case of this water was packaged very well. None of the glass bottles were damaged in shipping.

This sparkling water is very carbonated and incredibly refreshing! Each glass bottle was sealed with a metal cap and contained very aromatic sparkling water with hints of grapefruit in the flavour. I've had many different sparkling waters from popular brands over the years but I will say I'm very impressed with the grapefruit flavour on this one! Most grapefruit sparkling waters end up with a bitter aftertaste. This water, however, had such a subtle scent and complimentary grapefruit flavour to it. At zero calories, I figure this is much better than soda for those of us who love carbonation. :) I would also like to add that the contents were well protected for their fragile nature and I'm beyond thrilled to have grapefruit sparkling water for both cocktails and by itself for the holidays! If you like grapefruit flavour but don't like the butter aftertaste, definitely give this sparkling water a try!

This sparkling water is bottled at an aquifer in Western Canada. I regularly drink sparkling mineral water, and while I usually prefer unflavored mineral water, this grapefruit flavor is very enjoyable. I also prefer bottles, so this fits that desire as well. With no sugar it’s nice to avoid empty calories. The only drawback is that the current price seems on the high side for twelve bottles.

This isn't your typical flavored water. This is sparkling water with a hint of flavor. There are no sugars or artificial sweeteners. I'm not a big fan of sparkling water but I like this one, probably because it's lightly flavored. It's very refreshing right from the fridge. One of the best things is these are glass bottles, no plastic! It's a nice portion size too. There is no aftertaste because there's nothing added. My dinner guests loved them yesterday and wanted more. Great product.
