My 1 year old golden retriever chew up every toy in approximately 20 minutes. You should see my front yard. There are scattered pieces of plastic, footballs, basketballs, soccer balls, unidentifiable scraps, clothing, you name it, it’s shredded on my front lawn.My family room floor is a scattered mess of stuffed animal stuffing, shredded napkins, shredded Amazon cardboard shipping boxes, my wool dryer balls that the dog de-constructed, chewed up homework, my bills in shreds. This dog chews like crazy. He LOVES shredding things!When I received this toy from Amazon, I thought it looked stupid & was going to return it. But my dog claimed it! I got it at Christmas time, and here we are at St Patrick’s day, and this sucker is STILL IN ONE PIECE!!Who would have thought?? And my dog loves it! He carries it all over the house. The head & tail are hard plastic, but the middle/scales part of plastic is softer, rubbery plastic. But not too rubbery, or the dog would have chewed it apart.Hooray for this product!

This is a great toy for aggressive chewers. My dog carry this everywhere and it's lasted longer than any other toy he's had.

It's a very good product. I would recommend this toy for a heavy chewing dog. My main reasons it's not 5 stars, it's HEAVY and the eyes peeled right off. My pup really likes to throw his toys around, this thing sounds like a cannon ball that's going to go through our floor! He also tries to destroy everything so he was chewing on the eyes and he would have definitely eaten them if I wasn't paying attention. It's not a horrible thing but I obviously don't want him to eat non food things. My dog also likes the squeaker in it, but it's difficult for me to get it to squeak. That's not a big deal though just thought I should mention it. Overall especially for the price, it's a good sturdy product that's cute and it's still holding up. He's chewed parts of the softer areas off a bit, but the rest is very hard so he hasn't made much of a dent. It's also about as big as his head, so he's pretty happy with it!

I bought the fish for my daughters pit bull , it has held up just fine, no problems

I have a heavy heavy chewer, the only things that has escaped him were items like "kong" solid and rubber but no squeaky. He quickly lost interest in the toy; largely within a week at most and never picks it up again unless really bored.Squeaky toys had a life shelf of a week at best, that is with us taking them away to "preserve" them for longer. So far, this toy, the fish, has been the longest surviving squeaky and the longest at keeping his interest. it has received some cosmetic damage, but nothing that would make you remove the toy from his possession and it STILL squeaks.

My dog Jolene the Destroyer can rip through the toughest toys in minutes if not just a day. Kong brand is no match for her. She's had this fish for 2 months now and it's one of her favorites. It's the perfect size for a bigger to medium dig. NO chemical smell like some of these toys. Made with quality material the ends are hard plastic though and she seems to chew on that part the most. I'll be replacing this one when she wears it out.

Didn’t have crazy high expectations with the crazy chewer at my house. But it lasted a couple hours of chew before it had to go to the toy grave yard.

I didn't read product info, but writing this so someone else just buys it thinking it's just a fish toy. It's definitely for aggressive chewers, it's a beast! It's solid & tough. I ended up giving ut to a friend who can use it with her aggressive chewers, instead of my Littles. Worth the $.
