Brilliant! Great quality, well worth the price. Freezes lovely in the bag included stays nice & cold, straps very secure to you, inside part that touches you is a soft velvety feel unlike most just plastic. Very comfortable. Ive bought this for my hip replacement. Which i have just had and as soon as i leave hospital it will be used. It looks very good quality with sturdy velcro fixings. Im sure it will sooth my hip after exercise or if in pain. Thank you.

This lasts about 20 mins as ice pack fits well but leg strap way too long. I managed to move around wearing it

Absolutely brilliant.. I'm waiting for a new hip and this is so good in the cold pack haven't done the heat yet so I can't give an opinion but definitely recommend this for anyone looking for something to relieve pain in hip .

Bought to use following hip replacement and was very impressed! As long as you don't leave it in the freezer for more than a couple of hours (as per instructions) the gel remains pliable meaning it still wraps around your hip well. Inside is nice and fuzzy making it comfortable and didn't leave my clothes/dressing wet. It does condensate on the outside so it just sat on a puppy pad with another over the arm of my chair to soak up any moisture (as per photo of me sat down) although a towel would have done the same thing! Nice long straps with velcro on both sides, meaning that it is reversable so can be used on left or right hip. Also, because of the shape, will also work for back or shoulders, which is super helpful for the future.

It’s great as an ice pack as you can shape it to your hip but it doesn’t stay hot when you microwave it. Otherwise it would be perfect. By the time you put the straps on the heat is almost gone. Tried heating for a long time even and same result. Belt fits with ample length around waist and thigh. Just sort the heating out.

Invaluable after my hip op. I bought two so one was always ready when needed. The straps are reaaalllly looooong, but apart from that was excellent relief.

Bought this to help reduce swelling after a recent hip replacement. Seems well made and flexible enough to fit a petite hip but the straps were so long I got fed up using it very quickly. It was also difficult to keep the ice pack in position. Perhaps better if two sizes were available small and large with different size straps. I could wind them twice around my body.

Perfect! reached right temperature once chilled and fits like a glove.

I use this for bursitis and arthritis in my hip. Other products wrap right around but looked too bulky. This had great coverage, the straps were extra long and the velcro was strong. Packaging was great. It even came with a freezer bag and a nice note from the manufacturer. Super product. Stays cold for a good while and still soft enough out of the freezer to use immediately. One side has a protective covering so you don't need to put a cloth between the gel pack and your skin. Perfect size for back, hip, thigh, knee, or shoulder thanks to its great design. Highly recommend!

Had a hip replacement works great

After hip replacement surgery, it is very important to keep the hip area cold. Due to the location if the hip, it is difficult to securely fasten the icepack. Newgo did a very good job with design, the icepack can be securely strapped onto the hip area, provides a good coverage and fit.

This is a very nice ice pack. I recently had hip surgery and needed an ice pack for when I’m on the go. It freezes within an hour/ hour and a half and stays cold for about the same time maybe a little longer. When it’s very frozen it can be stiff, but only takes about 10 minutes to soften up. At first I couldn’t understand the thigh strap, but you have to wrap the strap the opposite way you would think. It is double sided Velcro so I put a piece of fabric over the top so my clothes wouldn’t get caught on it. The size it perfect for me I’m 5’4” around 180 lb, but the straps are very long! The fabric under neath is very soft. Another plus, it fits under my brace. I was worried it wouldn’t, but it’s perfect. I would suggest putting it on first and then a brace. The reason I give it a 4 star. It produces a frost on top which then will make anything you have over it wet. I had to set a designated hand towel with it so I had something protecting my clothes/blankets. Overall it’s a nice ice pack, it freezes fast and works well. I would recommend it.
