I couldn't justify paying $30 for the Yeti 14oz mug, but I'm starting to understand why they cost so much. Visually, this is a great looking mug. I'm not huge into flashing brands and logos everywhere so I really appreciate the fact that there is no branding on these mugs. Just some stainless steel and paint. It fits well in my hand, feels solid, and it's definitely easy to clean. At this price point, its a great value. But this is a situation where the cons outweigh the pros and there are better options out there.The advertised "double walled vacuum" insulated mug simply does not work any better than a paper cup. I like my coffee hot, and it was luke warm after 20 minutes (despite it being 74* in my house). I'd expect it to hold temp a little longer than an episode of the Simpsons. The lid seals on the mug very solidly and I didn't see any evidence of leakage. However, there is a design flaw in the lid that makes it nearly impossible to drink out of. The spout is very small and there is no vent to allow the liquid to pour out smoothly. Because of this, the liquid would only trickle out in glugs, one tiny sip at a time. Your only options to enjoy your beverage is to use a straw (defeating the enjoyment of drinking out of a mug) or drink your coffee without the lid in place. I chose the latter and I admit it probably has a big impact on it's ability to retain heat in the mug. Placing an ever so small vent hole would improve the functionality of this mug. (I might actually drill a little hole in it so I can use the mug with the lid). This also seems to be an item sold under other brands like Meway, Wetoweto, and Zulay so expect the same performance from those mugs as my review here.Overall, for around $12 for 2, its not a bad price but I wouldn't waste your money on them. My dad always said you'd waste more money buying cheaper things and replacing them often than if you spent more money on quality items that last. $30 might be a lot for the mug that works, but it might be worth the disappointment and frustration I felt in getting these 2 almost useless mugs. I see the value in Yeti now.

I bought these for my parents, I was wanting a Yeti, but they were sold out and these were a suggested replacement. I was skeptical but I ordered them and asked my parents what they thought of them. They love them, said it keeps their coffee hot so it's not getting cold on them while they are drinking it.

Gave these as a gift to my grandfather for Christmas! He loves them and tells me all the time how much he loves them. It keeps his coffee hot for hours on end!

Good little coffee mug. I really like that it doesn’t leak.

Great product for the money! This is personal preference because I clean everything thoroughly…the only thing I did not like was the moisture that gets locked in between the sliding piece to cover the drinking hole. Other than that 5 stars!
