Performs as advertised
To be honest, I wasn’t expecting very much but was desperate to get my products out the door so I invested in The Arrowmax. I invested in this tool because my old jewelry drill couldn’t penetrate mother of pearl easily. I found myself spending hours just to drill a handful of mother of pearl discs and pearl beads.I love that it comes in a case where everything is contained neatly. It holds a charge pretty well, meaning I don’t run out of juice in the middle of drilling. The four speeds are precisely what a jewelry maker needs for drilling beads of various density.I definitely recommend this product for people who do crafts or make jewelry. It’s quickly become an invaluable tool and a tremendous time saver. It’s a great value for the money.

So cool!
James Bond should have one in his kit. The case is as well engineered as the tool. Was able to drill through hard polycarbonate, no problem. The drill doesn’t have enough torque for the larger size drill, which can get stuck if too much downward pressure is applied, but works great with the smaller sized drills. Cutting the hole by stepping up in size helps. This is with polycarbonate. No experience with other materials.

It’s decent, but not perfect
It’s better than a hand drill but it’s not great. The power button isn’t the power button. The changing of bits can get frustrating as it gets stuck and you have to remove the shank? To remove the bit. It’s great in concept but has some annoying quirks for the money. Typical Chinese product.

Doesn't work. Received 2 faulty devices
Bought one to use on miniatures and it works fine as long as it I powered up, but as soon as it shuts down it doesn't not turn on by itself. Even after charging for 6 hours, once the screen turns off, I needed to plug in the drill to turn on the screen. Only then I could use it again, but the battery would read as full the whole time. Got a replacement from Amazon, but that had the same issue. Do not bother with this.

If you build models, this is the drill
USB charging, interchangeable bits in every conceivable size, magnetic slots in the case for the bits - they thought of everything. My only complaint is that pressing the drill button a second time automatically causes the drill to spin in reverse, which can help with making smoother holes in plastic, but overall is largely an annoyance. The Tamiya hand-held drill is the only Tamiya product I would not buy again. This drill is totally worth the extra 15 USD.

good product
I live this thing. It's great for working on small things like grilling small holes on model car engines for wires. I've found many uses for it. I even bought a drill bit det with many more size s for many uses.

Had to return
Product worked well for a very short time. Battery would not hold a charge for more than a couple of minutes. I have reordered so still hoping this was an anomaly

good torque
i was a little concerned that it may not have enough horsepower to work. i have a variety of hobbies from plastic to light metals. and the drill did very well on both. It will bog down if you are over aggressive, but it will cut both very well. It has a convenient light and adjustable speeds. it's a little expensive but money well spent.
