Works excellent. Fast, Future Proof, Plenty of Connections. Used as secondary Switch for an AT&T Fiber Router. Great Value. I highly recommend, as I expect this item to be a good backbone for the Ethernet parts of my system for a long while. No noise and barely gets Warm. Plug and Play. Shaped right and ports are in correct locations. This is a very fast QoeS switch.

Works as advertised, speeds are at 2.5G where available. I am running this as my main switch for my home which was wired with Cat5e. Our internet speeds are at their max. 2 year warranty is a really good deal as well make sure to get that registered right as you get it. Ease of use is great and the setup is just plug and play.

The adoption of network speeds above 1GB from ISPs combined with the inclusion of 2.5GB NICs from OEMs seems to be the catalyst needed to bring down the price on 2.5GB switches. A new ISP in town is bringing 2.3GB fiber optic service out this fall, so I thought now is the time to make the jump to be ready. I have a one-level house that is really long that makes WiFi unattainable throughout the whole house without employing several access points or a large mesh to cover the distance. The challenge is extended by the demarcation point for service being located at the extreme end of the house. The really nice feature of this switch is that 2.5GB speed is possible with CAT 5e or higher cabling. That means you can simply drop this switch in place of your existing 1GB switch and have the capability of 2.5GB. I can upgrade my wired network to 2.5GB for a fraction of what it would cost me to install a mesh network that would cover the entire house and have higher throughput as well. Another very nice feature of this switch in addition to the robust 60Gbps switching capacity is the inclusion of the 10GB SFP+ port. This is an attractive feature for layouts like mine that involve long cable runs between rooms with multiple devices. This makes it easy to run a high bandwidth link between locations with the added benefit of being able to run fiber optic to avoid interference. I'm looking forward adding another of these switches to the network to achieve 2.5GB end-to-end throughout the house. 3 of my PCs already had Killer 2.5 NICs, so replacing the switch is all I needed to get up and running. A few more NICs and a couple more switches and I'll be all set.

This switch box solved my network issues, I was pulling way to much off my router nice to split up the house with easy setup plug n play

For the price these are bang for buck great, but I noticed some latency issues. I have 5 Deco Xe75 pros that are all backhauled to each other and they worked fine, but noticed latency issues and some connectivity problems. So I went back to my tplink switch and my latency went from 27 to 10. I had three of these. I returned them and bought tplink. I didn't want to take a chance. I have drink and tplink switches that are over 10 years old and still rocking. But I tried and they work but I don't know how long these will last and especially keep with high speed fiber. I have 1.2gb download, and I was getting close to it but my latency would be between 27 to 50. Went back to my tplink, I'm at 10 to 12 on average, even 7 sometimes. Thanks and Goodluck. The previous 2.5G switch I purchased heated up and throttled. - conclusion: This switch is good enough and economical enough that I may purchase several of them and cascade them.
