I really like this one! Granted, I'm very fond of space games AND engine builders AND elder gods. This one plays like Splendor crossed with Apiary in that you are gathering cards to play, and some of the cards you play decrease card cost, while you are also choosing how to move the cephalopod god each turn. Players age 12-to-adult have played it twice in one day at our house and are still enjoying it. I'm not good with complex rules. They make my head hurt. But this was easy to learn and we managed to get up and playing a game in about 30 minutes. So far we haven't found any unanswered or vague rules. There are coop and single-player modes, but I haven't tried either. The tokens are wood, the tentacles and octopus are plastic, and the rest is paper cards and cardboard pieces. Overall it's good quality, no complaints yet, except that I fear the little cosmic portal cards will have arms break. The box storage is just one big chaos hole, no organization at all, but that's not unusual. I will ignore both those downsides because I like the game itself. Overall, I'm a big fan of this one!

An incredibly fun product. Nicely priced. Game keeps us engaged and has a few different ways to play including solo and cooperative if your prefer that to competitive. Love it.

Loved the pieces. Absolutely adorable. Plays similar to splendor or other engine building games. The theme definitely makes it stand out.

I love this game!! It is so clever, fun, & well thought out. It’s overall balanced really well for both 2 player & a 3/4 person group setting. I haven’t tried the single player mode or PI co-op mode, but the normal game play is excellent. The rules were easy to learn & the game truly does take 60-90 minutes depending on group size. It’s a combination of resource management & deck building. I loved that! The artwork is incredible. I highly recommend this game!

Can be complicated, don't recommend for younger kids. Late teen or adult game. You have to collect things in the game .

Great game for the family.

I played this game at a con and it was sold out then, but I'm glad I was able to grab it! Super fun and very easy to learn!

Game itself is fun, but whoever is selling the "Used like new" ones is full of crap. Bought two and both had massive holes in the box.

Good family game

I've loved playing this game online with friends, and was so thrilled to finally get a physical copy. The pieces are well made and fun to look at, and it's a fantastic game to play solo or with friends.
