7th Time Loop: The Villainess Enjoys a Carefree Life Married to Her Worst Enemy! (Light Novel) Vol. 5

I've been reading these books since they were first published, but I'm so glad anime fans have found it! This volume focuses on ridding herself of regrets from her first life, so Prince Dietrich is back, and still fairly annoying lol. We get some cute lovey dovey scenes at the end of the book, but I felt like the overall there was less interaction between Rische and Arnold. It's still a fun book but imo it's the weakest of the volumes. While there were reasons for it, it feels like the author is trying to stretch out the wedding. I'm assuming the next volume will also avoid the wedding since the cover doesn't show her in a wedding dress and there's a volume 7 coming out in Japan. But I still enjoyed it and look forward to the next book!

Romance is finally blossoming between our two main characters. Of course other things are going on at the same time. The plot moves forward and hints at more going on behind the scenes that our heroine was ever aware of. Some great character growth occurs and leaves readers looking forward to the next book.

It was delightful to watch the two of them grow closer in tenderness and love. I deeply liked those developments. The rest of the story, i.e the plot, was kind of boring. I have this nagging feeling I've read it before... So it's not a fresh feeling, and kind of dragged in a boring manner. The reappearance of her ex-fiance was obnoxious as well. I almost feel like this volume is completely skippable, except for the fact that the romantic developments were well worth reading. If it weren't for that aspect that kept me reading to the last epilogue page I would have given the book three stars. Since there was enough to make me want to still recommend reading it I gave it four stars. You could probably get away with skipping this one if you really want to... But it'll at least tie you over until the next one comes out?Side note, I believe they leave the story off one month out from the wedding. I'm wondering if the conclusion to the series is going to be the wedding day...? So it's possible that the next volume might be the last one. I always had my suspicion though that there would be seven volumes for seventh time loop. So it's possible they might drag it out in the next volume. There were some loose ends tied up with this volume, and also some interesting confrontations. They felt more like foreshadowing then necessary plot device. I can't help but wonder if the stuff that was kind of foreshadowed in this volume are the hints to changing the future.

Normally if I see anything talking about time travel it puts me off. Time travel is one of the hardest store tropes to get right. This story does it right.

Characters continue to grow, but no one is changed just to make an arc. Progression makes sense and isn't boring. Looking forward to the next one.

I do like the series but wasn’t a fan of the writing in this volume. Some of the sections felt overly juvenile and other sections, especially those describing Rishe’s feelings, felt repetitive. Plot wise, there was nothing inventive or ingenious about the plot. With that said, the interactions between Rishe and Arnold were sweet and the novel was easy to read. I hope the next volume is better.

If you haven't read it, You haven't LIVED!!!!! This is such a beautiful story, the plot the characters, it will fully immerse you to their fear, pain and tears a so so much love, the leading couple is just absolutely a piece of art that will remain for centuries in your heart.
