Foamily Premium Hypoallergenic Stuffer Pillow Insert Sham Square Form Polyester, 22" L X 22" W, Standard/White

I bought a 20 x20 inch pillow cover as a gift and was looking for a pillow form for it. I shopped around and was impressed by the reviews for this pillow form. I did as they said and bought the 22 x 22 size. When I got the squished down package it looked much larger than 22 x22! I thought there was no way it would fit into that pillow cover! However when I opened the package it immediately puffed up. I fluffed it a few times and lo, and behold it magically formed into a nice fluffy, but resilient pillow form. From thereon, it was easy peasy to fold it in half and stuff into my pillow cover. It looks fantastic. I, too, recommend getting one size bigger than your pillow cover. You won't be disappointed!

This pillow insert was such a disappointment, that I had to return it !! About two years ago, I bought this brand of pillow inserts and they were excellent. So, when I needed to put new insert in my sofa pillows, naturally, I went back to this company (Foamily). Unfortunately, this pillow barely had any stuffing in it. It looked like it had large "cotton balls" in it with big gaps between the "cotton balls". (I guess technically they were "stuffing" balls). I took my hand and pushed on it and it went so flat my hand was 2" away from the sofa. I want a thick, firmly stuffed pillow for back support. This one was not it.

I'm not sure how to rate this because the 22x22 pillow I received was fantastic. It came vacuum packed, but puffed up beautifully upon opening and filled the pillow cover with no issue. I'm very happy with it. It arrived flat as a sheet of paper, in a nice Foamily box.However, I also ordered 8 18x18 inserts. Imagine my surprise when I opened my door to find 3 giant boxes for 8 pillow inserts that are supposed to be vacuum packed and arrive flat as paper. I opened the boxes to find already puffed up pillows, haphazardly jammed into Foamily wrappers, and sealed with brown packing tape. I immediately suspected that these were returns, and that was confirmed when I realized that almost all the pillows were dirty--covered in black smudges. They're all going back. I didn't order used pillows.Based on my initial purchase of the 22x22 insert, I would recommend the Foamily brand. But I'd caution that you might receive returned items from the Amazon warehouse. We've been having more and more issues ordering through Amazon and have started to purchase direct from manufacturer when possible.

Received pillow insert and it was nicely vacuum packed. Upon opening, it immediately expanded to full size. The first thing I noticed was the cheap 'fabric' that was used to contain the filling. I am hoping it will be durable. It is a very soft filling. Then as I was putting the insert into the pillow cover, I noticed that every corner had no filling (photo) and the filling materiel is not the type that I can easily move or push it into the corners (didn't want to chance tearing the thin outer cover. Every corner is missing filling. Picky? Maybe yes, but I like decorative pillows to have corners and not be floppy. I ordered the 22x22 to go into my 20x20 pillow cover and it's a perfect fit--not at all 'over' stuffed nor wimpy looking.

I've bought other brand inserts that were of better quality or more careful finish, i.e., the cover of the insert was zippered and therefore removable for washing, and with a soft feel to the touch, whereas this one had a sort of tulle like cover with no zipper in sight. But the size was OK although I expected it would fluff out more. This was for the larger faux-fur white pillow you can see in the center. So, all in all it was OK but did not bedazzle me, if you know what I mean. And I did not want to spend for better quality ones since this was just not to let go to waste the faux-fur sham. That's why I gave it a four-star rating, but if you are looking for something not too pricey this may well fit the bill.
