genuine replacement
I bought this to replace the one on my Specialised Rockhopper which broke when I took a tumble. It's the genuine article. It comes with the inner wire attached so is easy to fit. Just feed it through the outer sleeve, fit the trigger to your handlebar and then attach at the business end.

Good for the Money
Good for the Money ,clean looking and sits nicely under the bars, only reason i gave it 4 stars is the 2 levers you have to push to go up and down the gears ,not like the other type where its a push and pull ,but ill get used to it ,would recommend

replaced prior SRAM shooter. Worked fine but doesn't have a shift counter on it
Replaced a shifter on my Turbo bike. Had SRAM double tap but this was an inexpensive alternative. On a turbo, I slightly miss not having a gear number indicator on the shifter.

Beware return fee
While fitting various upgrades to my bike, the day this arrived, I realised I didnt need it as the bike already had the same shifter. Returning it cost me a £3.99 fee. First time I've had to pay to return something in quite a while.

Was a bit frustrated about how to install it on my wheel. But after 10 minutes of thinking and reading manual on sram.com i figured it out. Switching as really smooth and precise. I was expecting a bit fuzzy ergonomics but it turned out it extremely convenient. Very recommendedP.S. Before i had ring shifter and was afraid this wouldn't fit at all. This definitely fits
