A great quality hydration bladder with a few neat features
I had previously purchased 2 cheaper bladders, both of which had issues and were clearly not of great quality. This bladder cost about twice the price of each of the others, but the quality of this one is far and above those. The bladder itself is of a much thicker and better quality plastic. The tubing is thicker. The mouthpiece lets more water through. The quick connect system allows you to disconnect only the hose and you can also route the hose through either side of the bladder. The included magnet is brilliant for holding the mouthpiece against your rucksack and stops it from flapping around and you always know where it is if you need to grab it. The hose is of a longer length than the cheaper bladders too. I've already had this one out for an 11 mile hike and it gave me no issues at all and I feel pretty confident in the quality of it. It goes nicely with my Osprey rucksack too (though obviously fits in any rucksack that has a hydration pouch). Although this Osprey model costs a bit more than some others (it also costs less than some too!), I wish I had simply bought this one first as it would have saved me the pain of going through 2 cheaper and lower quality bladders (which to be honest, are going in the bin). One last note, I didn't wash the bladder before first use and the water tasted almost perfect!

Great water bladder
2.5!t blagger is a good size for a warm day, if a longer hike I take a backup. The bladder fits perfectly in my 12lt Osprey day sack, zero leaks from bladder fill point and drinking tube. Magnetic tube locator works well, no faf trying to reach for bottles in side pockets. If it’s a hot day fill the night prior and store in the fridge. I should of bought it years ago.

Fantastic but.....
The pack itself is brilliant and the magnet is very strong ensuring the mouth piece is secure. However you feel like your going to rip the pack upon first opening, I'm not sure if its meant to be like this, but it was almost glues together at the fill point and you have to break the seal.

Hydrate on the move in style.
Highly functional with some great little features on this hydration pack. A wide reinforced opening at the top and a smart grip/handle makes it easy to fill, empty and clean. Zip lock fastening to prevent leaks. Easy to install and doesn't slump in to a heap at the bottom of your bag. There's a nifty little magnetic clip to secure the hose to your bag or clothing for easy sip access I love the turn cap and bite valve nice feature. And taste-free from the get go

Great water reservoir
Good product, that is well designed and significantly cheaper than equivalent Platypus that I was replacing (issues with seal leaking). Osprey: - easy fill and much better designed seal mechanism - no plastic taste even from new - good valve However, beware of the magnetic clip, while a good idea in principle it messes with compasses, so I have removed it, an ordinary clip or a velcro design would be much better.

Good product
Really convenient compared to bottles, and it works well. Some mention a plastic taste which is evident if you let water sit in it for a while, but rinsed mine has been fine. Only thing to note is with bottles you can see how much you have left and ration yourself, with the pack it's not easy to know without explicitly looking. Make sure you check what size your rucksack/backpack can take, there's a table you can find on t'interweb. Definitely recommend.

Wish I had one years ago
Was reluctant to get one of these as saw some reports of mould growing in tubes and people saying they didn't like the taste. It put me off of getting one have one now and it's so easy to clean with one of the cleaning kits. It fits nicely in the back of my bag. . Used the lemon trick overnight and haven't noticed any bad taste. Love the magnetic clip that holds it so.easily.in place on the strap of my bag. And it's accessible at all times. So am drinking more when hiking. Was worried about the extra weight but you hardly notice any difference. Previously only took 2 small bottles of water and a travel flask of coffee. Now have the bladder full and still take a coffee. So pleased I tried it. I'm now a big fan of these. Highly recommend

Like a cheap carrier bag that leaks! Don’t waste your money.
I have used camelback & source bladders before with no problem, as I had just purchased an Osprey rucksack, which is a nice well made piece of kit, I decided to buy an Osprey hydraulics 2.5l bladder. When it arrived it was nicely packaged, but my initial concern was that the material that the bladder is made of appeared to be very thin and cheap, I reassured myself with the Osprey brand……,,foolish! First time of using it I filled it up, and sealed it and as I carried it over to put it in the bag, I noticed that it was leaking from a hole in the bladder. Upon inspection, I could see there was a small hole where the bag joins the red carrying handle. So I haven’t even got to use it, as it was not properly sealed at manufacture. What was really disappointing was that Osprey bags are pretty well made, but the bladders? I wouldn’t touch one with a barge pole, absolute rubbish. I have an unbranded one which costs about £7, which is made of better material than the Osprey, and doesn’t leak.

I was a little hesitant to buy this and just buy something cheaper but at the end of the day I went for the 2.5L. it's a little stiff at first when you first open the pouch to put water but after that it's easy. You really don't have to worry about water leaking as other pouches use a turn style cover. This one is more of a clip that slides on and you don't have to worry about it coming off. The hose is long enough where you don't have to worry and it has a magnet in case you want to attach it to something metal if you're wearing anything that has a metal on it. I'm taking this out west when I go to Alberta and British Columbia and I will be using this a lot for hiking. I have tested this and it works great especially if you're cycling. You'll just want to make sure who fasten the hose when biking.

Klare Empfehlung!
