Avon Mineral Powder Foundation 6g (SHELL)

My favourite mineral foundation powder as I can't find Loreal's anymore. This product is just as good and costs less, good buildable coverage with a kabuki brush - please don't stop making this product Avon.

Great coverage, as well as being really lightweight. I tan easily so my face looks almost sunburnt, but this covers it without looking like I have any foundation on at all. I got ivory - just knocks out the ruddiness and gives a soft finish and looks like the kind of colour which turns into a very slightly paler colour than your own. Lasted 7 hours before needing a touch up.

This powder is great, it does go a bit dewy after a few hours, but I don’t mind that. It makes my skin look healthy with a slight glow and it is a medium coverage which you can build, but I like to be able to see my own skin through make up so you don’t look like your wearing a mask! I bought sand beige (it is yellow golden tone) which is the perfect tone for my skin but maybe a touch dark, so next time I will purchase a lighter shade, hopefully with the same tone as some pictures of other colours look a bit pink. It was nice to receive a note from the seller in the package to say thank you for the purchase.

Excellent product, very reasonable in price. The colours are great. The makeup doesn't block the skin. A little goes along way. The product last ages. Apply the mineral power with a slightly damp brush for a great drewy finish. I used may makeups over the year and this is my favourite. I alway get complimented on my makeup.

Wanted to try a different mineral powder and chose Avon. When using with Khabuki brush it cakes on my skin and I have to keep buffing it to get an even face finish. The colour is also a bit darker than expected. The coverage is also not great unfortunately.

I have used Bare Minerals for about 15 years. This seems to be just as good. I am medium beige with BM and the Nude is a fairly good match- maybe a smidge darker. The colour wheel on the Avon website is very handy for selection of suitable colour. Cannot see myself buying BM again!

This is a good finish for applying over your foundation. I use a large make up brush to apply it with and make up lasts mush longer. Also good to apply over lip stick once blotted - will give a good finish and last longer.

This gives my skin a really nice natural glow but with a good coverage. I really like it and is better than some of the expensive ones I’ve tried. It’s quite a small pot but you don’t need much. Would be better if it had an inside lid that could be closed and contain the powder until you want to dispense it. I would definitely recommend it though, it’s a lovely mineral powder.
