One thing you have to remember about this is you will be putting a screw gun on back and that makes the whole assembly quite long. This can limit your application. I used it to put a few rivnuts in my car and it did the job well. These had to go in a very tight space where the manual type tool would not have fit. Plus it was easier than the manual tool.It seems pretty sturdy so while I do not expect to use it in the near future it’s nice to have in the garage.The only downside is I bought the kit with both metric and imperial attachments but the case only had slots for the metric ones. The additional ones will fit and the case closes just fine, but it’s a bit messy inside. I guess that’s fine as long as they do, so they don’t get lost. It going to dock them a star for that - price was very low so I’ll live with it.The suggestion to test run one was a good one. Practice makes perfect. You can’t really tell if they are fully tightened down just from the resistance on the tool since they need some force to fully lock into place without over-tightening them.There are a few versions of this kit out there besides the metric plus imperial. Other ones include the rivnuts which this one did not. I bought an assortment of those separately

The media could not be loaded.  I purchased this rivet adapter because in the description it said “ ✅Meet You Needs: Help prevent wear with rivet nut drill adapter as this tool pulls the rivet nut instead of turning threads to set; rivet adapter can withstand 4X the force of other adapters.”. This is false… it turns the threads. The way it is designed it is impossible for it to pull the threads.

This is a nicely made power tool attachment. The fact the manufacturer offers a lifetime warranty is a testament to their confidence in their product.The tool is also versatile. In addition to working with a drill or drill driver, you can also use it with a 1/4" ratchet for tight areas.Definitely follow another reviewer's suggestion and do a couple of test runs on a piece of scrap metal before working on something expensive like your car or van. It's not complicated to use, you just want to get the feel for it.It comes in a nice case along with a special wrench, 10 mandrels (5 metric and 5 SAE)

This is indeed a cool tool at a great price. With its beautiful anodizing, the fit and finish of the product is outstanding. The individual parts are heavy-duty, and should last a lifetime. A nice touch is adding a rubber o-ring and washer on a couple of the mating parts to insure they don't loosen under use.The most underrated feature of this tool however, is that the handle and collar are easily removable. This could be a game changer if you need to set a riv-nut in a tight location. The tool’s main body has knurls machined in it so you’re able to get a good grip when using it without the handle. They include a nice assortment of SAE and metric mandrels, packed in a fitted plastic carrying case with a custom wrench. The parts fit together so well however, I doubt you will need the wrench. This was my first time using a specialized tool to install riv-nuts, and it couldn’t have been simpler. The finished product came out perfect.

You may not need this tool often but when you need it, it’s very helpful. I needed it to install the Lund visor and Racerback on my 1993 Ford F150 mark III Flareside Nite. I really wanted to install them with bolts and this was the perfect solution. It’s not hard to use, just time-consuming.
