YML Round Medium Cage, White

I bought this cage mainly because of its appearance. It looks very cute hanging in my daughters' playroom. I am also very pleased with the quality of the cage and it has plenty of room for our two parakeets. There were no instructions included, but it was not difficult at all to assemble. I like that the perches are wood, not plastic. The bottom of the cage is deep enough that along with the use of the hooded food and water cups, there is very little mess that escapes the cage to land on the floor. Two trays remove from the bottom easily for clean out.

UNFORTUNATELY, I cannot add the general bit of GRACE I may give to some reviews SORRY....But this cage is NOT like the picture, came "to be assembled" with NO INSTRUCTIONS to do so.....VERY CHEAPLY made, after FINALLY getting it together..... the bottom grate won't lie flat, because the cage doesn't meet up precisely :-P Some of the paint was already chipped off !! and after getting it together, MORE is chipped off, because it rubs off SO easily.....VERY THIN WIRED cage.WILL NOT RECOMMEND this cage to anyone .....

My parakeets have always had round cages and my old one was showing wear after many, many years of use. I was initially drawn to this model since it was wider than most yet not too tall. I have had the same problems as some of the previous reviewers. The removable bottom trays were shipped with two "lefts" and no "right". I cut the tab off the one and it is usable but now somewhat difficult to remove. On the plus side, the trays are highly polished and I found that it is easier not to line them with paper as they rinse off and come clean quickly with a pass of a kitchen type brush. With the more than adequate diameter there is much flexibility in placement for toys, treats and perches so that items on the lower levels do not get soiled from above. It is not the easiest to attach the plastic bottom tray to the sides of the cage. I would not trust the top plastic ring to hold the cage (mine sits on a stand). That said I do like this cage and my parakeets love it. It has much more room width wise than my previous cage allowing a lot of activity for the birds. After searching and reading reviews for many cages, I feel this is the best for my two birds in a round cage.

Wonderful good size cage.Well made,looks great,snap to clean.Even thou I have just one medium size bird in the cage,there is plenty of room for two.

Rather large for what we needed. Cage does not fit together very well.

I bought this cage for my mom's two birds. They loved this cage instantly. It was an upgrade in size, and the perfect size where its nice and roomy, yet you can still carry it if needed. I also bought and floor stand to hang it on, perfect!

Cage was delivered pretty fast. It arrived without assembly instructions but was very easy to figure out. It has a very simple yet modern design and the white color make it look chic. I have the medium which is a great size my two tiels, a couple of toys and their food dishes. The food dishes that came with the cage didn't seem really pratical for the cage so I swapped them out for more sturdy ones. Overall, I am very pleased with my purchase and would recommend this if you're looking for a decent sized cage for no more than two birds.

I ordered this cage for my Mother-in Law's cockatiel, the cage was delivered on time. When I went over to see the new cage & help clean it & put it together,it didn't come with instructions on how to put the base of the cage together, the cage is also missing the seed & water cups. I am very disappointed.
