FONT size is 7 or 8
This is a beautifully made Bible. No problems there. You'll have no trouble reading it if you're used to Old English as I am. You will have a problem with the font size, if you don't see very well like me. It's at most a size 8 and possibly a size 7 font. My fault on the font size you'd need eyes like a hawk if your eyesight isn't that great with reading glasses I choose not to. My fault for not asking somebody about the font size. I will not send anything back if it's my fault. It's going to be used as a gift for someone with excellent eyesight and I'll go on and buy another edition with at least a 10-point font or more

Beautiful and Recommended By Favored Teachers
This is a beautiful little Bible. As others have stated, pages are thin and the print is small, but neither are prohibitive to enjoyment. At 61, I would have trouble with it in low light. I am very happy to have purchased it. I follow a teacher who recommends this for accuracy in translation, and once my own pastor recommended it, I decided to make the purchase. I do not find it difficupt to read.

My faith has been restored!
I love this Bible and believe it to be God’s preserved words in the English language. I’ve grown up in church all my life and have read and owned the standard KJV. I can honestly say no other version has allowed me to learn as much as I have, after attaining this masterpiece of cherished Christian history! I don’t find the Elizabethan English hard to read. I’m able to cross reference so many verses because the witnesses are all consistent throughout the entire scriptures. I’m a firm believer that when you have ‘oil in your lamp’, you can be profitable to advance the pure Testimony of Jesus Christ (John 14:26). I’ve been able to get several people to buy a copy of this exact Bible for themselves after sharing how much I’ve learned from God Himself, and love sharing the importance of understanding the lineage of where their scriptures come from. After being in institutional churches for so long, I started to feel the oppression of ‘the system’ because you learn who they model after as stated in Rev.17:5. It killed my faith and I eventually fell away. I pleaded to God to show me the Truth, and He lead me to the 1611. Once I was exposed to the significance of the Protestant Reformation and how it created mass revival through the persecutions of the saints, I was moved by their faith and zeal! I wanted faith like that! They believed in something real and were willing to die for it so people could have true freedom in Jesus Christ (John 8:32)! If you want to break free from Babylon, buy one ASAP!

True 1611 Olde English Bible
Beautiful facsimiles of original Middle Age art combined with 1611 English. Be aware though, the type is clear but small. Really small. I don't need glasses to read and I can easily read the small type in good light, but I wouldn't want it any smaller. Because it is English from the year 1611, and English has evolved in the 400+ years since then, this old English version may be best suited for readers who know English as their first language and have good eyesight.

Extremely well made; in China
God forbid that I critique the contents of the Book. I would like to share the physical attributes of this surprisingly well-made Bible. It seems that these days, books printed and bound in China exceed the quality of those printed elsewhere. There are dubious electronic products, toys and foodstuff from China, but a book is a pretty simple affair to judge. The binding is truly outstanding. The paper quality is way, way above average. The Chinese definitely have the advantage in paper quality. I applied strong shear forces to the bible and the binding remained "square". It is as tough as any pew bible. The pages are well secured to the cloth stitched binding and are in no danger of being easily torn off. The pages are smooth and feel thicker than those of an average bible. There is little "bleed-through" of the print from the reverse page. The print is solid. Some mass-produced bibles have print which look faded. If you are going to highlight passages, only some of the yellow ink will show through on the reverse page, but it is a lot less than in most books with thin pages. The yellow highlight does not soak through and the reverse page does not get inadvertently and completely highlighted as well. The Dust Jacket spine has a bright yellow label so this bible can be identified on a shelf from a distance. I routinely put a plastic cover on my book covers because of the tropical weather and industrial pollutants where I am living in. The pages seem to accommodate humidity well and the edges do not go wavy. With the introductions and the Apocrypha, the New Testament occupies only the last one sixth of this Bible. This can be a plus or minus point depending on individual users. The Apocrypha is placed between the Old and New Testaments. The print has been modernised. This is definitely not a facsimile of the 1611 KJV in the strict sense. A true facsimile is over 17 inches tall and should have the print in the original fanciful Gothic manuscript style: beautiful, but hard to read. (any first printing KJV auctions for over $400,000) This version has Roman print. Unlike the larger and much heavier Gordon Campbell's version, it has normal white edges, while the Gordon Campbell 400th Anniversary version (from Oxford University Press and also printed in China) has gold gilt edges. Hendrickson Publishers has its own unremarkable prefaces to this bible and the Apocrypha therein. The publishers should have uploaded some sample pages on the Amazon site. This Bible handles well. It is as easy to hold as a pew bible. For a hard cover bible, it is rock solid and ready to be air-dropped into Afghanistan. This is a Bible which can see a lot of usage - as most bibles should.

Arrived safely and in good condition, quality product and value for price paid. It is a definite appreciated addition to collection of KJV1611 if you have other copies, this made available seperately. Is lovely 😍 to study 📖 by yourself or with others within a group. The ISBN ✔️ for bonded leather does not match the copy I received, therefore, I couldn't verify if this copy received is actually bonded leather, it looks like a hard copy paperback copy as I have leather bonded copies of the scriptures and this does not look the same or similar. However, is the word 👌🏿that is important.🙌🏿

I absolutely loved this facsimile version, it’s budget friendly and it contains the 1611 text's and scriptures with same gothic style font. I love collecting Bibles, having different types of translations help a lot but this one is a good collectors edition and you could use it for reading casually but only if you are quiet familiar with KJV translation. “God’s words bring light, strength, and hope- guiding every heart that seeks Him.” ~ amen

Beautiful copy of the 1611 King James! So happy with my purchase! I love the lettering and type. Language is ddifficult to read so you have to go very slowly, word for word, which in turn, helps retain the scripture! Thank you so much for this!
